    I bought one and just loved it went all over the west and up to Canada it just never gave me problems. I miss those days when you did not have to visit a dealership because the cars were made right. Not like today.

    Lethal Weapon 4 made me fall in love with this car. I remembered wanting the same one from the movie. Too bad I was a kid when they were new.

    This video didn't include the empty Mountain Dew cans and green Newports under the seats.

    '94 had a better look, and will always be the best 90s Grand AM imo. But my high school best friend had one of these '99s in black, and it was the best car he had. He had a Saturn and a Honda after his uncle killed the grand am and neither of those ever held a candle to the grand am. Got some really great memories of driving through the smalltown night blasting old video game music to pick up mcdonalds before getting home and smoking pot behind the shed. Best mcdonalds ever i swear to gosh.

    Love the Grand Am. Both my sisters had them (2001 GT Sedan and 2002 GT Coupe) and I had two G6s, lol.

    I agree with some those comments the cornering in this car is fantastic and the steering is nice.

    My 99 2.4 grand am twin cam would take off and leave QUAD 4. So yes, there is a difference. One is 2.3, the twin cam however is a 2.4 liter.

      These cars also came with the 3.4 V6 in the SE and GT trim levels

    Gm interiors were horrible in the 90s and 2000s.

      @@ryans413 Sorry, I meant to say lower intake gaskets are very common on those. How have you been avoiding them?

    • @ryans413
      @ryans413 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jb-cw7mx oh I see I haven’t had any issues the engine has no leaks of anything valve covers are dry oil pan is dry the head gaskets are good no oil or coolant intrusion the intake gaskets are good even the dexcool coolant is fine. The only thing I have notice is a small seepage on the transmission leaking out the passenger side axel where it connects into the transmission but I’m not too worried about that it’s not dripping. And the power steering rack same thing got a small leak again some seepage not dripping. Plus the cap on the power steering pump is bad leaks out some fluid from time too time. Car mechanically been good
