Good evening, Philip. Great market, nice and clean, and the vendors are friendly. I like how you asked the lady to put sour into the egg ball bag . Boi, you are practically a Guyanese now. You did an excellent job at showcasing the place ❤🙏👍🏽💯💯🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾
Glad to see the new Lenora marketplace. Hopefully, they did not double the rent for the vendors. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Philip! I hope they make improvements to Starbroek and Bourda markets in the near future. Lot of oil money floating around the country now. They can give it back to the people.
What happens if it rains or their is storm? Kind of unusual they don't have anything covering the sides and place ventilators for airflow. It would have been nice if they had different floors to utilize the space so people are not outside heat. Make everything look streamlined. Just a thought.
They forget about the rainy season. Unfortunately, they would boil in the equatorial heat, if they encased the structure. They were aiming for less noise and natural ventilation with the open air concept. This reminds me of my old Colonial style school in Trinidad. A two storey structure... on the second floor, one side had a complete wall with windows, and the other side was completely open. The rain would come into the classrooms.
The market is good, ahright! Ah, and the road is getting there! When it rains, do you still stay dry? No reason to build that high. You buy so much stuff, you have to get a donkey to help you fetch it.
waste of money and material building the structure that high and the fish area should have lots of running water, the government never done anything properly for the Guyanese ppl
