There are so many great things going on in this show! The models, what a beautiful selection of women! The fabrics and colors fit the season but designs still are bold enough to stand out from normally blah season. Just very excited to see the variety, with tons of true to the original namesakes designs.

ODLR is in good hands....I loved Oscar and I loved what he did for women over his decades of service to style, but this evolution just feels so natural. Kim and Garcia have taken the elegance, relatability, exuberance and femininity of the house and updated the delivery JUST enough. They're not reinventing the wheel here, they're just taking the next step. I love the plaids, the textures, the herringbone, the shapes, the movement, the masculine touches, the tapestry, those asymmetrical pieces!. I think they still need to work a bit on the youthful quality (or lack thereof), and some of the colors (of which Oscar was a master) and heritage prints (which fell a little flat for me). The show definitely started very strong with the daywear then trailed off a bit, but then ended with an explosion of couture with the final few evening gowns. I think Oscar would be more than proud...he'd be their biggest fan.
Great collection this is their best work yet , can't wait to see these clothes in the stores later this summer. Their first collection had a bit of a rough start ,. They definitely have found their stride and it has paid off ,Mr. De la renta would be proud of this work.

In this collection they started to bring back the Oscar style. But they still need to tuning a little. Oscar never use that palette of darker colors, he was from the Caribbean for that reason he always used vibrant colors. Some clothing looks that it was designed for hipster. The coats were to big for a woman. The accessories and purses were stunning!!! The evening gowns were opulent and to die for. Finally, I think that they are starting to create a balance of what the Oscar essence is and their own style. I like it!
I see a very heavy Spaniard influence,maybe because I''m from the South of Spain.The color palette,the shapes-the coats looks like mantones-the golden embrodery,the bags with the shape of a farol,etc.I really love it!! I completely agree with you,it's a great mix between Oscar and their own style.Great transition collection!

A ridiculous recent regret is that I didnt play more often in a wooded valley with a stream more often as a child before being banned although I can remember the apprehension about one particular part of the path on the way back. Yesterday however on the London underground I thought how ironic it's always crowded.
