Hello David, Iam a Genos owner and I purchased my Genos a few months ago back in the month of January. I'm interested in the firmware 2.0. But my concern that I have, is will I loose the Tyros 5 styles that I have in my Genos, if do the update? Please let me know. I live in the USA.
is there any danger to screw up the Genos by updating to Version 2.02 ? Assuming no power loss during this operation. I just get my Genos yesterday. Have not check the firmware version yet. I downloaded the new version 2.02 (ZIP file) from Yamaha Website (for free of course)

Genos it’s a wonderful keyboard but I have a big problem in live, suddenly the volumen drop dow and go up later, this a frustratedly problem for expensive keyboard, Yamaha must to do something about, but they never answer me..I bought this Genos 2 months ago... This is very sad when you paid 5,900 Dollars

Do i have to format the stick in the keyboard or format in the pc thanks
By doing this update, would I loose the T5 styles that I have programmed in my Genos? Please let me know as soon as possible.
I would copy all the customized styles to an USB stick. If you lost them after the update, simply copy from the USB to the Genos user area again.

Hello I just bought my Geno last week I’m from New Zealand how can I save my own registration without losing the genos registration please help me..
Copy all your stuff (registrations, user voices, user styles) to an USB. After updating firmware, you can copy them back to where they were.
How much do you sell your USB with the new update 2.0 for the Genos
