DJ Mix recorded on October, 2023 on the island of Florianópolis in southern Brazil
Maybe because the first instrument I learned to play was the acoustic guitar, and one of the first (and easiest) chords you learn is this one; perhaps because I grew up in the southern pampas of the world where this chord dominates, especially in styles like milonga and tango, perhaps because it shares the C major scale and is ideal for lazy producers to compose their music without worrying about black keys, or perhaps because of the complex depth of a chord that, while conveying a certain sadness, can reveal a world of beauty that touches reality without ever forgetting that where there is life, there will be death, and that a completely happy world is nothing more than an illusion to calm anxious hearts.
The fact is, in today's mix, we'll groove to the sounds of A Minor, the chord of all peoples.
