    • @teeillz
      @teeillz 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi..
      You may be confusing it with the fact that D1 coaches can not actively recruit freshman and sophomores. The coaches are only allowed to speak with the prospect if the child visits their school/camp or if the child initiates contact via email. There's no need for us to lie. Nasim attended a few college camps and has gotten two offers already, one from the head coach at Alabama State University because he attended their prospect camp this past August.
      Thanks

    • @teeillz
      @teeillz 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No need for us to hype him up or lie Davio. There IS such a thing as "verbal offer".....Your opinion is yours regarding his abilities but do feel free to google his name and pull up various articles of his Freshman year starting varsity, baseball factory and perfect game accolades.
      Nonetheless, thanks for taking time out of your evening to watch and comment.
      Have a great one✌

      but how are kids committing when they are freshman in highschool?

    • @teeillz
      @teeillz 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Tajy
      The schools have begun to see the "need" in early recruiting because of competition and choices. We have spoken to a lot of coaches, trainers, etc. and the world of youth sports, leading into the collegiate and professional arena, is a crazy road to navigate. Kids as young as 14 are verbally committing and either the child or the coach can rescind because it isn’t in writing as of yet. However, the reason behind it is the premise of a “gentleman’s agreement” where the kid shares they’ve committed on recruiting sites and videos like these to kind of ward off other “suitors”. Size, grades, test scores, coachablility, behavioral instances etc, can all change a coaches mind when it gets down to the wire. As for the “size” of my son, I’m not worried about that, the size of his talent and his heart will dictate his path and what’s meant for him will be for him. Thankfully his success doesn’t rest on youtube comments ;-)
      Thanks for watching, have a great one!

    I'm seeing this late,2019 but having seen many recruitment vids, I enjoyed this one. I mean, it was more like a short story than a stat video. He spoke clearly and slowly and he meant it. I got some insight into his heart and this clearly showed something other vids don't. Showing gratitude to all those that helped him on his journey, shots showing him share and teach younger players. This video clearly speaks to the tool of sportsmanship, values, hard work and gratitude. Oh yes, the best part of the song during a slo mo batting clip, well done!!
    Ha, I just noticed in a post below mine that he was signed to the Marlins.

    As mom, my first instinct when I see the negative comments, those questioning his style of play (contrary to popular belief there is no right or wrong style of playing baseball, some things just come naturally), is to become defensive and protect. Then I remember that even negativity and naysayers serve a purpose. This video has been up for one year and I'm so thankful and humbled by the overall support that he received/s. Nasim started his Sophomore year today and continues to make me and his father proud, on and off the field. Thanks again to all that took the time to watch and comment-whether encouraging or not. Stay Blessed

      Easy to sit back and throw stones at a kid who works his butt off to achieve his dreams. You must be proud of yourself!
      Incidentally, he had 49 stolen bases last year. If he can improve his hitting a little there will be a place for him at the MLB level.

    This kid has got some amazing potential! Lots of talent to work with! one of the biggest things he needs to work on is his feet and coming around the ball. In my opinion I think the difference between signing with a competitive D1 school and not is his transfer time. If you get that just a little bit faster you have a very bright future!

    honestly the kid did not look that great in this video. Nothing about him seemed "projectable". Did all my research, the kid is going to Clemson whether you like it or not. Clearly he has done something to take his game to the next level. I applaud you for proving me wrong. Best of luck to someone who appears to have done nothing but prove people wrong.

      Nicholas Ramos Thanks for the comment and most importantly that you took a step further and did your research. Nasim was 14yrs old in this video. For those of you who are not as impressed on projection which does little justice to his in game play. He has received offers from the top schools in the southeast region and is currently positioned for beginning at Clemson. Thanks again.

    I love this video and this kids style! Smooth, fun, creative playmaking. Do not listen to the naysayers who criticize the swag. Too many Americans play stiff and uninspiring. I see gobs of power hitters who catch and play 3rd. Give us some style up the middle please!
    Coaches drill the beauty out of the athlete. They become proficient at the basic play but lack the grace of the Latino players. Let the great athletes play naturally! Have fun! Show some flash!
    Nasim can obviously make all the plays and all the throws. But in addition, he moves beautifully and fluidly. This will allow him to make the spectacular plays.
    Thank you for putting out a great video of an American player who is going to the top!

    He has a lot of potential. I think if he took the less swag way of fielding and hitting it would show more and look better. Just personal preference, but he's a pretty solid ball player. Best of luck kid!

    Very good. Put yourself in front of the ball as much as possible while fielding. Your glove work is excellent, instincts excellent, but don't rely on these solely. Stay down on the ball, get in front of it as much as possible.

    Great hands, glove, speed, arm and bat. In the infield you are very solid but your feet need a little bit of work. Rather than planting your feet and waiting for the ball, it is better to be proactive and put yourself in a better position to get a short hop. Try to keep your feet moving at all times when fielding a grounder, as doing so will provide fluidity, momentum and in turn an easier, shorter, and more powerful throw. Also, it is best to stay on your feet as much as you can, because having to get up off the ground takes up a lot of time. If you stay lower to the dirt, you will allow yourself to have more range and work from the ground up, so you will be able to make the play without the loss of time and momentum from being on the ground. Coming from a rising junior in high school and a fellow shortstop, I truly believe you have massive potential and are more than capable of playing even beyond college, and hopefully these tips will help you reach your goal of reaching the show!

    that kid is fast. that is huge thing in baseball but he has to be faster with his feet in double plays because a double play can't have a single mistake or the play is over. if he gets a little more size and muscle then he might be able to make something happen
