    Mine should be in, in a few more weeks. A lot of people hate on this, but the thing is, it was never meant to replace a large pressure washer. This is going to be perfect for me. Because of some surgeries I've had that went really bad, I'll probably never be able to lift a heavy pressure washer again, plus this is a lot more convenient.

    Jeff I currently own this. Been debating on returning it. Not sure yet. I think the strength of it lies in its convenience. That's the main appeal here. I've been using it for rinsing off tools, trash cans, hard to reach areas, and basic car wash. The turbo nozzle is very inconsistent for me.
    I predict that the price of it will either drop to $99 or they'll do a battery combo. At 149 I don't know if this will be a big seller. At some point maybe a flexvolt only version with more power will peek more interest.

      A lot of people have been buying it sometimes it goes out of stock in a few of our local home depot's and then you'll see it in back in stock a few weeks later

    Video seems to start and end like it’s incomplete. Good information though. I picked this power sprayer after dumping the ryobi squirt pistol sprayer. this one isn’t nearly as poor as the ryobi unit. Going to pick up one of those foam cannons for window and car washing. That seems to be the best application for this device. Maybe even screen enclosures.

    • @jeffostroff
      @jeffostroff  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just a warning about foam cannons as they require pressure that's often 800 PS I or more which the dewalt unit is not capable of handling so you will not get good foam out of it I have not tried it yet on my unit but I will test it out soon

    Hey Jeff. Tested the washer the other day using an inexpensive Tool Daily foam lance from Amazon. The lance came with a 1.1mm orifice and a 1.25mm orifice. Using the 1.1mm and adjusting both the ratio knob and opening knob I was able to get a creamy foam using Chemical Guys Honeydew. I think the best we can hope for is a creamy foam from the 550 psi. I will be interested to see how your new Ryobi does with the 1600 psi and 1.2 gym flow. Hopefully that Ryobi can get you closer to snow foam.

    • @jeffostroff
      @jeffostroff  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      where do you install the orifice?

    • @markgaudino7730
      @markgaudino7730 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jeffostroff You unscrew the 1/4” pressure fitting on the foam cannon to access the brass orifice. It is a threaded brass plug with a hole in the center. Most have a slot across the opening so you can unscrew one size and then screw in the other one. images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81NdNZBLYrL._AC_SX679_.jpg Here is an image. Oh FYI, Home Depot Kendall (#210) would not take the Lowes 10%. I tried before I saw your update about using the Pro Desk and seeing if they would write it up as Customer Satisfaction. The regular cashier (young guy) said, "We don't take those anymore." Love your videos. Keep up the good work.

    What soap gun are you using on the Dewalt

    • @jeffostroff

      I was using the crappy bottle with black plastic nozzle is the junkie DeWalt soap applicator that comes in the box, useless unless you just want soapy water. Then you also saw the clear Ryobi Foam applicator which was a little better it has blue plastic top, then the Greenworks applicator had the green knob on top of the bottle at the nozzle. Her eis the soap we used: 🛒 Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice BF-100 Car Wash, 32 oz. amzn.to/39JFZss

    I got one the other day and the wife don’t know yet but the Home Depot was running out and I didn’t want to not get one cause we need to wash the brick on out house and siding. Plus we have 4 cars that I wash and they leak so now the drive way has some oil spots that need clean n the rate they were selling by the time i got the ok to get one they would be gone. So this is a case of the better say sorry then ask for permission scenarios. And I did look at the ryobi electric pressure washer and I don’t know how safe it would be to have to run extension cords to get everywhere around the house with water spraying everywhere and I may not get shocked but it could blow an outlet outside my house is older so it has 1 gcfi outlets where they had the hot tub but the other 2 I think need updated to gcfi plug ins

    I'm a huge Dewalt 20/60v tool fan. I'm completely invested in this line. Other than portability for washing a vehicle, I can't see any benefit to owning this tool. I own a Ryobi 2300 brushless electric that completely fulfills al of the tasks that you're trying to accomplish with this underpowered unit. Just seems like you're trying too hard to justify its value or purpose.

    • @jeffostroff
      @jeffostroff  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes Except you can't put a price on convenience like being able to walk all over the place with that dewalt power cleaner . With the Ryobi you're stuck by the length of the electric cord. And then the hose is short

    • @jeffostroff
      @jeffostroff  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is nothing inherently wrong with the power cleaner it's a low 500 PSI power cleaner and probably the highest PSI rating that you can score out of a battery operated cleaner . They don't really advertise it from nothing more than doing vehicles and light tasks, which you could buy electric plug-in models that run up to 1900 PSI but then you have long electric cords to deal with, or you can get a gas powered machine which can go up to over 4000 PSI

      We don't know if this is hackable because I have only seen the tool only version in the stores and I think there is a version that comes with a battery but I don't know if the battery comes in the box and if it does it's probably not hackable because you can't return the battery like that unless it's in its own package
