Hello Conner, Thanks for getting Casey to recover your truck because now we all get to enjoy the beautiful scenery! Thank you Casey for helping and for bringing us with you.
I love these types of scenic videos. The recovery stuff is great, because I am a SAR volunteer up in Washington and I learn a lot from you on driving in the Cascade Snow. I think I have seen all of the TH-cam videos you have done, plus I have bought some clothing merchandise. I never had Yankum ropes or soft shackles before, now I swear by them. The videos on the Blue Ridge mine, the Meeks Cutoff, Wagon Train trails, and even the wheat harvesting, etc. are great educational material. Usually, I will get on the internet later to learn more about the history of those locations. The other TH-cam off road recovery shows are great, but yours are also extremely educational and entertaining. I am impressed on how safe you operate, no heroics, no stupid risks. I am also one of the viewers that don't mind the sound of tracks. I wish I had tracks on my Jeep and F150. I have driven with tracks on a Polaris Razor. Keep up the great job. PS: That was a really nice thing you did at Sand Hollow with the Judge's cash and the small boy.
Hey Casey. Beside really enjoying all your great videos, what I like even more is you don't mince words and you speak what's on your mind. A sadly rare thing these day. !!!!!
Casey LaDelle , recovery guy , tour guide , and a " historian " with an awesome office . By the way , I don't really hear the tracks all that much and doesn't bother me ( but , that's just me )
Gooooooood morning Casey! What an awesome area! I hope that you take us back up there this summer so that we can see how it looks when the snow is gone. I love exploring old abandoned buildings, the mine was very interesting to see! Thanks for taking us along Casey and of course thumbs UP to you! 👍 OH and your wife had a great idea to use the hand sanitizer to get the Jeep started!! 👏💪
I love the old historical content. You could be the Northwest's "part time explorer." There seems to be old mines and ghost towns all over central Oregon and Washington.
Good you went exploring with him. It's always better to have at least one person with you when exploring. You never know what will happen. Awesome video Casey 🎉
I stumbled upon your channel through the cleanups you participate in, stayed for the recoveries I had no idea that I was interested in and then cheered for the random exploration of historic mines, homesteading trails. Thank you, I have learned a lot from your channel.
Nice! Another one of your recoveries become history lessons! You sure can see on how well the building were made back then compared to buildings of today. Was very Interesting!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful country, and the stories. Thanks for doing the wrecker games and having such a great impact on a young man. You have an awesome impact for good on so many people. Please keep doing such a great, awesome, you tube channel
Thank you Casey, for taking people on a cool history run of our areas! We have some awesome history hidden in our back (or front) yards!! Oh, the track noise, it's awesome travel tunes!!!
Conners adventure in the mountains must have a interesting back story behind it. Walking out for help must have been a ordeal. What little I know about mercury mining is after the ore slurry is heated the mercury evaporates and goes into a condenser in the last stage. The condenser was probably sold for scrap metal long ago.
Thanks for another great video with amazing scenery and interesting facts about the old mine and hotel. I live in Florida so I don’t see snow unless we happen to be way North in the winter and it is so beautiful, but no thank you. I love to watch it fall and I love the way it looks right after falling but, that’s it. I don’t want to be driving or walking around in it, I’m a tad too old to be doing that. Thanks again Casey, love your channel. Take care, stay safe.
YAY for another track Jeep recovery. Maybe the complainers can invent quiet tracks LOL. That what an awesome recovery. The field trip through the old mine was awesome. And the views! So rad. thank you for sharing. And kudos to your wife for thinking to use sanitizer to motivate the Jeep to start after your family hike.
Loved the comment about the wild horses at 29:05. They tend to hang around up by Big Summit Prairie just to the east of your recovery spot. The first time I ran across them (on the 4210 road a few tenths of a mile east of the old hotel), they were standing in the road, weren't very interested in getting out of the road, and didn't really care if I drove slowly between and around them to get on down the road...
Tell Conner I'm sorry he got stuck... well, not really. Because he got stuck we got to see some very nice scenery and heard some interesting history about a mercury mine!!! Thanks Casey, for bringing us along!!!
As always Casey I enjoy your videos. It's a part of America I don't get to see often as I'm from the Midwest. The mine was interesting and it would be fun to see it again in the summer. Thanks for sharing.
Thank You for another awesome recovery! 😎 The scenery is absolutely beautiful 😍 Love the sound of the tracked Jeep, I have no idea why people would complain about the noise🤐 Zip it! 😂 Enjoyed the mine visit too! Stay safe out there!❤️🙏
Casey, I watched this yesterday. Missed the 360 camera and I never complained about the sound, ever. Glad you were able to back out of the hole. Casey when you told about your bag, way back when. I told you that my wife had surgery to reconnect her and loose the bag. Well, she died December 17th. She went down hill after the surgery to reconnect her back up. When the doctor said they could reconnect her she said yes because she wanted to be able to have her grandchildren sit on her lap. She got to hold her last grandson about three times before she died. He just turned one in March. I never knew I could miss someone so much. I have lost both parents, a younger sister, and an old brother and they were nothing. I hear her at night, think I should call her in the hospital or care center and say oh no she is gone. Treasure your wife and your daughter and spend the most time you can with them. You never know how long you will have them or they will have you. I am getting tears just telling you about this. The real dumb thing is, we got divorced after 30 years, didn't see or talk to each other for eleven years and then I was in a roll over accident that nearly killed me. I had remarried and wasn't happy at all. Well she contacted my best friend and asked if he could get her in to see me. Of course he made it happen but I didn't remember her being there. I thought I had a dream about her which wasn't uncommon. After I got out of the hospital and decided I was going to move to Arizona for the warmer weather, leave Colorado. I filed for divorce from my then current wife because she didn't do anything to take care of me when I got out of the hospital. Our son told my ex-wife I was moving to Arizona alone so she called me and asked if we could talk.. She asked to move to Arizona with me and I told her I had to think about it. My son told her she would be going with me before I even said she could go. When I called to tell her it was okay, she said that our son had told her and she thought he had talked to me and was already planning the move. That was in 2016 and I planned on spending the rest of my life with her. She was supposed to out live me. We remarried in 2017. Sorry, I know don't know me but after all this. Don't let them tell you they can't reconnect you. I know you have said you will have the bag forever , that is what they told my wife to begin with.
Spent tons of time in the Siskiyou's and Cascades, have never spent much time in the Ochocos. Definitely adding this to my to do list! I was going to go to Colorado this year, but maybe I save some money and stay in Oregon.
Casey, that's part of what makes your channel good. I love the side exploration trips along with your ideas about what happened way back when. BTW the only thing about the quality of the sound is the volume goes down which is no biggie. Love your channel ❤️
Well that was an interesting excursion. You had some fun too exploring that old Blue Ridge Mine. A true Heritage site. To have a brothel right at the site must have been quite the show. You wouldn't get away with anything like that these days. Lol
Sometimes when you have limited slip or open diff and your wheels are spinning in the air you press the brake slowly it may make the wheels that are spinning free stop and activate the other one that has traction, thanks for showing us around the building's and such amazing how well they used to build thing's, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones 😊
23:46 I saw that Kilroy was there at one time. The sound of your tracked Jeep makes it seem like I'm in a C-130 just cruising along. It's a good, relaxing sound to me.
On your summer time explorations of these mines, have you done videos while exploring? Id watch them, your tour guiding during such a video would almost be like I was there. Your subtle and not so subtle humor would make it fun to watch.
I would love to see some summer time exploration videos of cool places like that! I think it could be really interesting if you could involve a local historian to fill in some details. Maybe a whole family adventure/local history type of thing.
I've been impressed with some group that's going around locations like this with buckets of paint to cover graffiti. It makes things seem more authentic even though it monocolors much of the area.
Hey I've been to this brothel and the mine next to it and the trail along the river... I haven't watched the video yet but if you haven't I went down that River trail there's some really cool abandoned vehicles that are sunken all the way up to their roofs in mud. There's also the bottom floor on the other side of the creek from a speakeasy. Your videos may not be my favorite but they're okay and I love the fact that you're in Oregon
Fun recovery with a bonus of an awesome tour of Oregon's history. Thank you from the comfort of my recliner in a warm house drinking a hot cup of tea. Stay safe.
Casey would it be possible to see videos this summer when you are exploring the mountains? I think it would be interesting to see I always enjoy exploring places and seeing the history behind it.
Still loving the 4K. The Track Jeep is a really good tool. I'm surprised that others in your line of work don't see the value. Looking forward to your Summer Tours.
Good job Casey. I like to watch these to get ideas on more places to explore when I go up to Madras and Bend areas to see family and friends. Next time I'm up there I will call you and take you to lunch.

Your track jeep is amazing! Your skill and being organized is too, thanks for entertaining me through holidays! Merry Xmas to you and your family Casey
We had the noise issues with our F-150 and stumbled on an answer. Truck had mat no rug. Our mechanic had to do some work under the dach and grabbed the 2×2 pad he used to stand on at the bench to raise him up off the floorboard. One on each side in the front. While on a test drive we could notice to huge difference in noise. They are a foam like and wash real easy. Black at hardware store and multi colored in toy department.

I don’t hear the tracks that much either. And even if I did, I would still watch. It’s part of the way it is.
I think a lot of the track noise gets filtered out in editing, but it makes Casey sound muffled. It's not bad at all though.
Headphone users are probably bothered by it.
@@davidbeers5949 I’m a headphone user and it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s a tracked vehicle, what should I expect?
It is no louder than trail mater

Awesome!!! My 1993 Jeep had over 260,000 miles on it and I then sold it. The frame was bad but the engine was running great.!!! Jeeps are the best!!!
Hats off to that kid for his throttle control. Good job kid! Made the job easier! And good job Casey! You killed it like always
I love the old historical content. You could be the Northwest's "part time explorer." There seems to be old mines and ghost towns all over central Oregon and Washington.
I love how you make things more complicated than they should be ,but never back down
Good you went exploring with him. It's always better to have at least one person with you when exploring. You never know what will happen. Awesome video Casey 🎉
I can't believe this channel isn't a million subscriber channel yet! I find it much more entertaining than the other tow-recovery channels on TH-cam.
I stumbled upon your channel through the cleanups you participate in, stayed for the recoveries I had no idea that I was interested in and then cheered for the random exploration of historic mines, homesteading trails. Thank you, I have learned a lot from your channel.

cool recovery and historical adventure. Thanks, Casey.
Thank you Casey . That is a very cool mine.😊
I'll take the track jeep sound over those garbage music sound tracks that most ewe tube channels have.
Exactly that!
Who doesn't like some royalty free beats on every single video YT has to offer?😂
I like hearing how hard the jeep is working to get through the snow.

I like that he talks, so many are just visuals with annoying music
So Casey, maybe a great summer project for the track jeep, is to gut the interior and install sticky insulation matting !
Thank you for the video and all your hard work.
