- Jean-Olive is at it again with an amazing map! This is a great remake of the legendary spot "For Miley", but my focus of the video was the awesome gaps that are in this map. We have 15 stairs, 20 stairs and a 22 stair with some gnarly rails. Everything about this map is just amazing so I suggest you go ahead and check it out!

I think this game will be a good competitor with the skate series. A few tweaks here and there and it's got It. Really excited for this game. Is it for PC only or is it gonna be for all consoles?
At 4:14 they need to make the physics a bit more realistic because if you landed and got your board caught up like that you would go flying off no doubt. Can’t wait for them to work on bail animations more. Great video man.

still waiting for Session and Skater XL on PS4! I'm not a pc gamer so I can't play any of these yet lol. at least I still have Skate 3 though. & that switch feeble was amaaaaazing! :)

I think its funny that you decided to treflip the 20 stair a day after chris joslin releases his tre flip bails on El toro hahaha. Loving the trick selection as always, please do an NS and chill on this map, quarantined here in Los Angeles so could really use it NS. Also more sw heel bs tails, like miles Silva’s, such a good looking trick haha.

Does anyone know how to install the sound mod he is using? I can't seem to get it to work.
The new sounds mod u replace the sounds folder in ur skater xl mods folder not in mod manager
Use CTRL+F while under the "Script Release" section in Discord to search that section. Type "SoundMod" in the text field. Look for the SoundMod zip folder. If you haven't already tried this, just drag the zip folder into the dotted box in the Unity Mod Manager. It will unpack the zip and install the mod. The newest files for the SoundMod are just loose audio files and not the mod itself. You need the zip folder first, then you can add the additional sounds.
To add the additional sounds, the SoundMod folder is found where ever you have your default installation:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skater XL\Mods\SoundMod
I think that's the default path, mine is different so I tried to recreate the default path if using C:\ as an example. Also, double check to make sure you have "Current Version" and "Ingame Version" the same. It's under the "Install" tab in UMM. If the version numbers don't match, mods won't work.
I don't know if you had tried this already, but I wanted to throw it out there anyway. Just trying to help a fellow skater!
The way you did the kickflip fakie (or whatev’s) was so smooth. It reminded me of Deedz’ Kickflip fakie gap in Deedz Nuts
I really just wish the crouching animations were as smooth as the Skate franchise. THATS LITERALLY IT FOR ME. I will buy this game. I will support this game. I just hate how fast and robotic the skaters crouch before and after landing a trick. It’s much to fast and in real life many different skaters use different force to pop tricks “it’s all in the knees and shoulders “ -coach frank. But yea seriously love everything about this game. OH YEA and skaters faces don’t look the best but oh well my eyes will be on the board 91% of the time. Just the small things for next year!!!

With this most tricks will look way better + if you tre flip by flipping it normally and holding down both sticks as it flips, then manually catch it with the front foot, it looks perfect & effortless like every time

Damn what would be a,among is when this game is 100% done and completed, I wish and hope that maybe they would add in multiplayer like in Skate. Where you can ride around town with your crew, that would be amazing

I simply play like I feel like playing and make these videos the way I want to make them. If I had to adjust to everyone watching it would be literally impossible to make videos. I always do things I find fun, otherwise I wouldnt do them in the first place. Hope you understand :)

The keyframe feature in the replay editor is one of the best things in a skating game. It makes such a difference from static cameras

I was thinking this for a few videos now but... You DO know that you can tweak your front and back foot, right? Just wondering because you always spin for lipslides, noseslides etc and seem to have problems turning to the right direction after handrails etc... I mean, you know how to revert, so i guess you do know and just don't do it for style reasons?

I don't own either of the games but I've seen tons of videos of both. Imo SXL looks a lot smoother and steezy. While session ends up looking a bit stiff and robotic looking. But thats just my opinion. Hopefully both will improve greatly and we'll have 2 great games in the end.
