3 Staterooms, Flybridge, Single Volvo Penta Diesel 440 HP. Made in WA. Full displacement hull that doesn't plane. Cruises at 17 knots burning 12 gph. No pounding, smooth ride, with incredible efficiency.
Always a pleasure to watch a tour of the Aspen C120 or one of it's siblings. I lean heavily towards this boat if I were in a position, or location to buy one. I like the details, the construction, fittings and finishes and I'm curious now with the Diesel option what the range on her is? Also is there any kind of development towards a hybrid diesel/electric drive, so the Aspen can become a passage maker? Please keep on developing and experimenting with this innovative hull design because the boat built around this hull, for the money is a dynamite value!
,........now if I ever am in a position to buy one of these remarkable vessels, where could a person install a combo washer/dryer? Looks like there are spaces in the aft cabin that could perhaps be a home to such an animal.
