Each United Way is independent and autonomous. Our United Way is volunteer-directed; volunteers decide how the funds our community raises each year are used. More than 90 cents of every dollar contributed goes directly to help people in the St. Louis region. Less than 10 of every dollar cents pays for fundraising costs and administration. We value transparency, which is why our 990 and other financial documents are available on our website.
