the update was an L tbh.. all the event toons were straight copies of og toons bobette = astro and connie coal = pebble (looks and old passive ability pebble had) ginger = cosmo rudie = flutter
i’m so sorry but to everyone who’s hating… L take. the toons look great. their abilities look great. they’re built so much better than looey and connie, on the same level as gigi and older toons (i joined before gigi update so cant talk about previous ones). they have so much more detail. their animations are JOYOUS. the event is beautiful! the event map is possibly the best in the whole game, for me (and i’m picky with maps!) “toons copying others”? there’s a limit of how much you can do in this game. there’s only 5 stats and they all gotta add up to 15. it’s a limited amount of combinations, and even worse: some combos are just… bad and unbalanced. i get it, ginger is a slightly different cosmo and i accept that take! not every update can be perfect. but coal, rudie, and bobette are pretty neat. y’all get mad when no update then diss on a carefully made update. they have a couple flaws but the positives are greater in number and value
