      Hola Gabriel, I haven't lived in Paraguay yet, so I don't have anything feedback.
      I did live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for two years.
      For Brazil, there isn't a "blue dollar" rate, as the BRL (real) trades freely. You don't have to jump through hoops to exchange money.
      What things intrigue you about Paraguay?

    May 24. I was there 6 weeks ago. Don’t waste your time. Go in a sweet shop and get 1000 to the USD. Why use up valuable holiday time chasing a few more pesos. (The clean bill,thing is true. The banks won’t take bills in poor condition).

    • @nomadicfire
      @nomadicfire  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yup. Exchange rates are fluid. Some days Western Union and blue dollar rates are the same and other times there is a 5% difference or more. If you are only there for 6 days or 6 weeks, 5% may not be worth it.
      But, if you're there for 6 months and you spend $2000 USD per month, that could be $100 dollars more steak each month 🥩🤤
      I compare updated blue dollar, Western Union, and credit card rates each day below, so you always know where to get the best rates.

    Thank you for amazing video. my question is how much you can exchange USDT to peso ? is there any limit withdrawal ?

    • @nomadicfire
      @nomadicfire  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on the cambio... More specifically, it depends on how much cash they have on hand. A few thousand shouldn't be a problem. If you need more, give them a couples days notice. If you want, I can check my exchange in Palermo Hollywood to see what amounts they normally can handle.

    What about using credit/debit cards?

    • @nomadicfire
      @nomadicfire  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Visa and Mastercard offer rates slightly lower than Blue Dollar rate. However, you will find that many smaller restaurants and stores will offer you a discount of 10% or more if you pay cash. Personally, I use my credit card at big supermarkets and for most smaller purchases for convenience, but I pay cash for big-ticket purchases for savings.
      You can find additional details on credit card rates and usage in the article below:

      If you follow the recommended tips on the video and avoid the crappy methods I highlight, then you'll get a good exchange rate. As of April 2024, the best rates are by using the method in the video below th-cam.com/video/eNgkz6SpuBg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sGPUXJLW2hho0pNO

    They told me the withdrawal limit for atm was $35 bro

    • @nomadicfire
      @nomadicfire  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Limits always depends on the bank. As I mentioned, some banks don't allow any withdrawals (at least on my cards). I've also heard of some only allowing 20,000 ARS, so it'll depend. I think the key takeaway is unlike in some countries where an ATM can act as your primary source of foreign currency to pay rent and other bills, ATMs in Argentina are best for small bits of pocket cash at best.
