He's one of the few willing to bend the rules to make room for modern warfare, and he's almost an heretic for that.
So would Gabriel of the Blood Raven’s 3rd company cause he would disagree with Thule on this as well
This is standard grimdark stuff, where even the so-called perfect space marines have some amoral pricks in their ranks, EVEN to their own soldiers! Theres taking a gamble on a risky maneuver or charge, and then theres arrogantly throwing good lives away in foolish battles that, even if you win, you wasted far more troops' lives than necessary. That is the folly of Thule here, hes too stubborn and stuck up his own ass to CARE about his soldiers even to the most BARE MINIMUM degree. At the very least dont waste thousands of space marines, WHICH ARE HARD TO MAKE BY THE WAY, on wasteful bullshit yes?

The Crisis suits may pack a punch but they sure can't take one.
Thanksfully for the Mont'Ka, they have those hovering death machine vehicle that obliterate both infantry and structure at long range. Devastating.

If the tau ever got ahold of any space marine knowledge, they would prove damn near unstoppable with the weapons and technology these guys have. Good game play too.
Shame, Davian Thule and Shas'O Kais didn't see eye to eye. They alone could destroy all the bad guys on the planet with Taldeer guiding them of course. But, xenos and humans are not one to share things unless it benefits one of them.
And it would be seen as heresy of the highest degree to consult with the xenos by Thule’s and everyone else in the Imperium

Usually i make a defense squad of 2 fireteams and 1 skyray rocketship and when attacking i use the kroot and drone squads as attack forces while my fireteams fire at em from a distance

Hi dude ! I really like your tau plays. I play with friends and the tau are my favorites but i struggle sometimes with the lack of melee. Would you advice me to go for mont ka and try to even the lack of close combat with firepower or should i go with the kauyon and try to get the krootox and hounds to fight back? Thanks in advance mate !
Ps: my friends use necrons and chaos
I think you need to rush building the hammerhead tanks, they can help u with that problem

@@tomascosenza6679 I always go for Mont'ka because Hammerhead Gunships are OP asf.
You need to plant Snare Traps around with your commander to slow down the melee. Also you can still make Kroot Carnivores.
As for dealing with Defilers and any other vehicles, all you need is your StealthSuits, trust me, they can turn the tide of any battle with their emp bomb which disables their vehicles for a while.
Also Skyrays Missile barrage can help with approaching melees such as Khorne Beserkers.
Marking melees using Pathfinders can also make them go down very quickly.
When starting a battle, i usually sacrifice a squad of stealthsuits, who will jump near enemy's strongest tank (Baneblades, Fireprisms, Land Raiders, Predators) and disable them. Then use my forces to quickly eliminate enemy infantry.
Don't forget to use Missile Barrage, it is very helpful at disrupting enemy infantry, it is the equivalent of Orbital Strike from Space Marines.
@@jackpanther1889 i think you are rigth about the hammerheads, i went for mont ka recently and anihilated some space marines vehicles in matter of seconds, but i keep struggling with tier 3 without the kauyon optics and armor . Maybe focusing more in the stealth suits to dispatch enemie vehicles as you say could help, as i often neglect those units (i only use them for scouting and capturing points in tier 1).
And i totally agree with the use of misile barrage from skyrays against melee units and some kroot to tie up the remnants, thats what i usually do with kauyon haha.

@@tomascosenza6679 don’t forget to use your range to your advantage they specialize on melee Tau don’t as long as you can disrupt the incoming melee fighters your set but yes pathfinders really help with their mark ability and Suppressive Fire passive
So, as you play the campaign, you know those levels where they give you an army to take down a base but you can't build buildings to reinforce yourself? How do ya do those types of missions?
Can you access to switch teams from other factions while playing skirmish?
you can play any of the Factions that are in Dark crusade, when in skirmish. (those factions being Necrons, Tau, Orks, imperial guard, space marines, Chaos, and eldar).
Why don’t you use Pathfinders to help Fire Warriors use more range? If you don’t mind my asking
Those path finders are good to use for finding anything hidden. Plus, good for scouting ahead.
@@bossshun9 I’ve always had at least one squad near a group or two of the Fire Warriors to give them a boost but thank you either way!
The blood ravens in this game are PAINFULLY idiotic. Is this game Canon in any way?
It's canon that the space marines win so their dumbassery in this mission is never officially exposed.
They win this campaign, but hilariously get sodomized in the next.
Also they never actually fought the Tau. They had to retreat early because Chaos.

This didn't look like it was on hard...you only got rushed by like 2 space marine squads..maybe it's just this mission but when I'm playing on normal I get rushed by like a tank, the commander and 3 squads of the bat
Strange that that happened AI issues probably, difficulty only adjusts the strength of allied and enemy units
I notice this as well for all of the stronghold missions. In HARD mode there's barely any early resistance. In medium difficulty its a full blown army coming from both sides in this one.
