I'm currently starting a Low FODMAP diet after years of struggling through stomach pain. Seeing your recipes have lifted such a huge stress off my shoulders of what to eat! Thank you so so so much for what you do! x
I'm started a Low FODMAP diet in January and I'm stressing about what stuff and ingredients I can actually buy from the store! But this too has helped alot!
Hello there try making chicken & rice soup. My gastro doc said not to eat egg yolks, garlic, onion or complete seasonings. That hurts, but the stomach will thank you.
Thank you so much for doing this. I’ve struggled for years years years with IBS and migraines, skin issues and general inflammation. I’ve just really been upset I have to stick to so many rules to have my body work properly. It’s so frustrating that other people can just eat whatever and not think about it. Ugh. Well it’s great to find an easier meal prep with gluten free, dairy free, and low fodmap because this is exactly what I have to do to get my body and health back in order! Looking forward to getting some inspiration from you. Thank you again, you’re a blessing.
Wow we have a lot of the same issues. Not happy about what you’re dealing with but it’s comforting to know I’m not alone. Seeing my husband eat stuff I can’t us annoying. Looking at food in the house I gave to stay away from is so tempting 😩 and sometimes I give in 🤦🏾♀️
you are an angel darling.ive had a bad year after my gallbladder was removed and my Ibs went into a whirlwind!!!watching your videos has inspired me after some frustrating times and many tears on the toilet.Well done hunny You are super positive and a inspiration.Keep doing what your doing xxx
I hope your IBS settles down, it's crazy how much it can take over so many different aspects of your life. But never let it win! Thanks so much for your message xxx
Thank you Becky. Your meal prep and recipes have shown me how manageable it can follow this diet after all. You make it look so simple. Appreciate all the tips.
Im honestly so happy that i found your Channel. I got diagnosed a little over a month ago (i was admitted to the hospital twice before the diagnosed) and Im so blessed that you have a Channel with recipes🥰My stomach and bowel has been rejecting food or making me get pains/nausea the past week so I’m hoping your recipes help🥰
Thank you for this!! I've been really struggling with low FODMAP diet, since I have IBS due to a really nasty Salmonella infection that´s been going on for a couple of months now. This has lift my spirits a bit, since I love cooking and been really frustrated lately cause I feel I can't eat anything hence I've been dreading to cook.
Your meal prep video is awesome! Everything you prepared looks so do-able. Yes, would like to see more of these meal prep videos. Keep up the good work. It is appreciated.
I've been dreading food prepping because I absolutely hate cooking but watching this makes me feel a lot better about it. And you're recipes are life-saving. Thank you so much! "you're not hurting that carrot" made me snort out loud xD
My two year old keeps having rectal prolapses. She's tested negative for cystic fibrosis, and her ultrasound looked normal, so the specialist has recommended we try this diet. I'm really big on the idea that I'm not going to cook special meals, so as a family we're making the switch to FODMAP to see if it helps her. I feel like I was just starting to get good at the whole "healthy, budget-friendly, meals cooked at home" thing, and now our favorite staples (cabbage, broccoli, black beans, pinto beans) are all off the table and I feel lost again. 😥 But I'm going to do the best I can!! Because she can't keep having rectal prolapses, and she can't keep having Miralax every single morning. This video has given my confidence that I can, in fact, did this. Thank you!
I am literally copying this entire video this weekend for my meals this week. After almost a year on the low FODMAP diet I haven't gotten anything back, so it's all low FODMAP all the time. In the long term, I think doing a bunch of prep at once like this is totally necessary otherwise meal planning just takes over your life. I do the same thing every Sunday. I cannot over-stress how amazingly useful this was. I want an entire channel of this. Why can't I find any more weekly meal prep videos? Everyone does this "what I eat in a day" which is helpful but I still have a lot of work to do assembling such recipes into a week's routine.
hurtstotouchfire i have a food plan notebook, start with week 1, wrte the dinner, or all three daily meals, while you’re doing it, go on and do week 3, change up the order, or meal choices, label it week 2, etc, no limit to how many you can have, on your calendar put what week you’re going to use, the plan doesn’t have to be used in any order, just serves as a title. This helps with prep, grocery list, and takes the thinking out of prep day, when I’m at a really busy time I will assign my meal plan for a couple months, you can leave a day empty for new recipes, you can change your plan mid week if needed, but you have s basic plan to fall back on.
I Donot get why soo many thumbs down. The contents in this video is so encouraging and rather easy to do. Foods seem very delicious, will save you time when you come home tired like a horse and not to mention it been marinated for days will make it more gourmet. Please make more videos
Hello Becky, I am new to fodmap after finding out I have SIBO. I love my food, and I feel like I have been starving myself as all the things I ate I can't anymore. So really grateful that you have given me some inspiration after watching your video. thanks so much 🙏
This is a great video.... actually don't feel afraid of prepping now and your meals were all easy enough to prepare!!! Big yes to more videos like this
I’m looking into the FODMAP diet, recommended from my provider. I’ve already eliminated dairy from my diet for years now. But I’m also looking into going gluten free as well. Seeing you prepare these meals really made me feel better and thought maybe I can do this. Looking forward to making these. Thank you 😊 🙏
Hi, I'm new to the FODMAP diet (I have M.E/cfs) and me and my mom are really struggling to find food I like and can eat. These videos are amazing and are really helping me! Thank you so much and keep doing what you do :)
I had ibs too. I cured myself. seemed impossible then, not anymore! Before beginning with the solution, get some basic stool tests done (like bacterial and a general stool test), even if your doctor says it won't be necessary. If all those test results are negative, then follow these steps: Take rifaximin 550 mg thrice daily for 14 days. Also, take multivitamins daily throughout the whole process (i took Centrum men multivitamin cuz it was more affordable for me). After fully completing rifaximin medication, take fluconazole 200mg (only on day 1 of starting fluconazole medication) and 100mg (for upcoming day 2, 3, 4.. and so on till day 28, i.e. for 4 weeks once daily). Remember to continue taking multivitamins daily. Also, you should stay on a low-fodmap diet throughout this process (i.e. avoid dairy, gluten, sugars, juices). After fully completing fluconazole medication, you need to buy prebiotic, probiotic, and enzyme tablets of good brands (ask someone or search on internet if you don't know any good brands). Take these for a month (their dosages will be written on their labels). That's it. This whole process that I've mentioned should be enough to almost completely heal your gut. If this doesn't help, even though it should, get some food allergy tests done. Also, get h. pylori. infection test done. Also, get tested for lactose intolerance. (optional) try taking 2 tbsp apple cider in half a glass of water everyday, 20 minutes before lunch and before dinner (do use a straw to drink it). Always Remember this: Irritable bowel syndrome is just a name that doctors gave to your problem cuz they don't know what's the actual problem (that's what the term "syndrome" means!!). It's just a label that they gave to your problem cuz they don't have any freakin' idea. So you don't label yourself as having ibs, it could be anything. It could sibo, sifo, low stomach acid, intestinal worms, intestinal infection, gut dysbiosis, literally Anything!! Strangely, your doctor won't usually tell you that you may have a totally different issue (like the ones that i mentioned above) cuz they don't give a fuck. they don't bother to utilise their brain to that capacity when they can just simply label your problem and save their precious time by prescribing you some shitty antispasmodics. Some ignorant doctors say it's due to anxiety, don't trust their bullshit. Throughout the process, everyday imagine or daydream what you will do after your ibs is cured. I imagined that, on the day it gets cured, it's a sunny day and i am full of joy and I'm donating bananas to poor homeless children and telling them "my ibs got cured". It's very important that you imagine or daydream of something like this. Definitely read 'The Power of your Subconscious Mind' book throughout this gut healing process. Watch episodes of 'the Office' everyday :) Everybody, please spread the word, to whoever you know has this problem.
Thank you so much for these great ideas. I have never been adventurous with cooking but after watching how you prepare things and the ingredients you use I am now enjoying tasty dishes all prepared by me. The different marinades is a great help and so tasty. Two questions please. What weight are the chicken breasts you’re using because I find that some packs have chicken breast averaging 150g while other packs will have them averaging 217g each. One further question please. I have all the ingredients for the curry powder except asafoetida. Many of the brands also contain a mix of wheat flour or rice flour sometimes both along with fenugreek or turmeric without giving the asafoetida %. The best I have found so far is a blend of 60% asafoetida and 40% fenugreek. Would that be a good choice or do you know of something better? Thank you.
I’d love to see more recipes. Unfortunately as well as GF, LFM and DF, I also have to eat Low Salicylate and Low Fibre for the rest of my life. So I’d love to know if you have any recipes that can fill these requirements or if you know anyone that has to follow a diet like mine that might have any recipes that would be suitable. Currently I cook large quantities of soups, pasta sauce, stockpot meals and rice (white only) meals and freeze and then vacuum seal 20 to 30 of each one. Luckily I have a huge freezer. I am getting sick of the same things though. I’m going to try your noodle jars (without spinach unfortunately) as they look awesome. Also will try the chicken fillets too. (Can you freeze them)? Berry smoothies are out as I cannot have seeds and would have to strain this. No pineapple. I do make big batches of mini crustless quiches and freeze these too. Although peeling and de seeding tomatoes is painful. I’m looking forward to seeing more great ideas from you. Thanks 😀
Fresh chicken is good for 3 days in fridge. Great recipes. I’ve been suffering from IBS for four months straight. Tests are N. One more to go. Guess I’ll try this diet. Anything to stop this.
Love the ideas but the only problem with frozen fruit is that you have not been able to wash them from chemicals. I do actually give mine a quick rinse in cold water. The best way to reduce the chemicals in all fruit and veg , is in water and apple cider vinegar, left to sit for 10mins I believe.
Great ideas where did you get the jar with the métal tin?? If you would add where you purchase items such as those and your spices that would be very helpful to me. Thanks
I fount this very useful. I'm on a gluten free diet and I'm still learning on how to prepare for each meal. Loved how you marinade each chicken breast in the bag Great video.. Thumbs up 👍🏽
Just a quick question is garlic infused oil ok on fodmap diet if onions and garlic are 2 foods to avoid or is the oil made in a different way? And is cherry tomatoes ok? I read to avoid those or have I read wrong ?
I think you're the one who mentioned a good FODMAP app , if so can you please tell me which one it is or if anyone else has a suggestion that would be nice
I get really sluggish and get water blisters on my hands and feet when i eat gluten(goes away when i stop eating it) so looking forward to trying these.
The only one 1 struggle with is the garlic infused olive oil and chili. I feel i have more symptoms if i eat spicy. And the only olive oil i could find was with chili, but i read it had to be with garlic aroma. I had so many symptoms when i started to use it, but i really wanted to try of because i love the taste of garlic but i don't have the energy to make it myself every 3 days. I live in The Netherlands, is there an garlic oil i can use safely?
I serve a few different things depending on what I fancy. Sometimes some rice, or on top of nachos, or which mashed potato, fries, on a salad etc.. I make them all the time :D x
Hi Becky. I really want to start to make smoothies but no idea what to put in as pineapple is quite acidic and worried about fructose for ibs. Any recipe suggestions?
I try to limit as much sugar as possible. So, lately I've been putting spinach, strawberries, blueberries, chia seeds, hemp seeds, beet juice, and sometimes a small amount of orange juice. Citrus fruits contains alot of sugar so I just been using berries.
You are making it easier for me to get over the intimidation of cooking separate meals. One I know what to use and how much of it to use that takes part of the anxiety out of getting it wrong and paying for it later. Also I’m getting new ideas stuff I thought was off limits forever there’s a way around like the Noodle stuff I have been craving noodles but the broth is what gets me. I didn’t know Knorr made a ham broth I’ve never seen it in any of the markets in my area and the broths I find even if they say organic gluten free no artificial ingredients yada yada yada I always find something I can’t have. I just need to find a good low fodmap recipes & make my own and freeze it so I have it on hand 😉
I don't why people make fool of others. I had IBS for 6 years but now i have 100% cured it. Guys don't pay anything to anyone else. I assure you that you can cure yourself easily without paying a single dollar to any one.. I can help you. Don't worry i don't charge. I will be glad to assist you. Drop me a line on Instagram " parker_1989_" Or whatsapp me on +918826601203
oh thanks for this, just found out I need to go dairy free, I didn't have a clue as I'm not a great cook, this as helped me a lot, I did eat what I wanted over Christmas suffered for it, I'm glad I found you I will look at other videos ta again x
Thank you for your information. I am finding so much conflicting fodmap.. ibs.. information. I dont know what to snack on, one thing says applesauce is fine, but apples arent? I will try your recipes and information out and see how i do.
I suggest you go straight to the monash university resources. They are the leaders in this research field and have the most up to date info. The older lists from different sources will give conflicting information.
Thanks for such an informative video - my partner and I are trying a low fodmap diet as he has been struggling with many IBS symptoms. Tried the frittata and it was awesome.
Hi Becky! Where do you get your garlic infused olive oil/ what brand is it? I’ve struggled trying to find infused oils in my grocery stores. Thanks for this video! You inspire me to be more adventurous with my spices:)
Heya! My garlic infused olive oil is just from Tesco. It's their own brand version... really good value too :) They also do other flavoured infused oils too which are nice. Most shops around here seem to do it, it might be hiding though! So glad you enjoyed the videos, spices are great to cook with, they can transform a meal! x
Monash tell you how to make you’re own. Chop garlic and start cooking it in the oil. Not too long or hot, I’m guessing. The flavour comes out. Keep oil, discard garlic!
I love your videos so helpful and so are you ! Your energy is so positive 🤗 also does anyone else have problems with a berry smoothie I’ve tried it and it always ends up giving me stomach cramps is it because I just grab a tonne of berries instead of a few ?
i really liked the easy recipes that you presented - the chicken marinades are a really great idea that i can use. i need to find a sub for the citrus but think pineapple juice might be just the thing as it is acidic, what do you think? i like the fritatta very much and have been planning to do something like that in muffin cups because i really do need to eat more protein in the morning. thanks for sharing these ideas and the video - more please! ~k
Hi Karen, hope you are well :) Give pineapple juice a go you never know! I love fritatta, often make it in muffin cups too and take them out on the go! xx
Oh my goodness I'm not sure if it's just because I'm high or do you not have an oven door?! 2:59 because somehow no one else commented and asked this haha thank you for this video!
They are made by Kilner, I got them in Dunelm :) xx This is the link to the one I use (they do a slightly bigger one too): www.kilnerjar.co.uk/index.php/kilner-range/create-and-make/snack-on-the-go.html x
Thank you for all those lovely marinade ideas! You did some nifty editing there, handling the chicken, so we didn’t see how important it is to wash your hands thoroughly before moving on! 😉
I found them in a shop called Dunelm in the UK - here's the link to the product tho! www.kilnerjar.co.uk/index.php/kilner-range/create-and-make/snack-on-the-go.html x
These are so helpful, thank you! I've been diagnosed with candida and a bacterial imbalance in my gut and need to be on all of these restrictions + low sugar too lol :p feels like there's nothing I can eat anymore and it's awkward to explain to people
Aw Sade, I'm sorry to hear that you have a lot things you can no longer eat, I know how it feels. Try to not think about it in terms of what you can't but what you can (I know its hard!!) I've discovered quite a few new foods recently just through necessity! I hope my videos can help you x
I just found this wonderful video! I am so excited to find some of the products that you mention, especially the Fody line. Where can I find jars like the one you use for the Pho noodles recipe? Those are brilliant! I am so sick of feeling sick, and I am just beginning to try a low FODMAP diet. Recipes like this make it seem real and doable.
Thanks for the love on this video since 2017! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram for daily recipes and updates from me on my story if you care: instagram.com/beckyexcell

I started making your meals when I found out I had IBS honestly best thing ever thank you you’ve changed my life
THIS IS SO HELPFUL! Thank you so much! Having GI issues is the worst and having someone like you to help is so nice❤️

Yep, IBS is such a pain :( Definitely give them a try!
For sure and it never stops x3
The noodles in a jar are such a good idea!! I'm going to start doing that for lunch at work!

Hello, This video had some great ideas. I am struggling a little with food preparation having similar dishes every day. Thank you for sharing.
No problem. If you have any particular dishes you'd like me to make, let me know xx
Just a quick question is garlic infused oil ok on fodmap diet if onions and garlic are 2 foods to avoid or is the oil made in a different way? And is cherry tomatoes ok? I read to avoid those or have I read wrong ?
I just started being gluten/ dairy free about a month ago, this was very helpful, thank you!
Do you leave that marinated chicken in the fridge all week? Or freezer? I feel like by day 4-5 it would go bad if it was only in the fridge. 🤔
Well, I just found them - Kilner jars on Amazon. :)
How does the garlic-infused olive oil count towards being low FODMAP? I'm new to all this. /genuine
A ll the recipes look yummy. Thank you for sharing. Where did you get your pho jar? I'd love to try that recipe in it.
Yes please! More recipes and videos!
Ty so much. Keep them coming. I’m new to a gluten free dairy free low fodmap diet. I know nothing. I’m learning a lot from your video.
I think you're the one who mentioned a good FODMAP app , if so can you please tell me which one it is or if anyone else has a suggestion that would be nice
When you switch between diarrhea and constipation is it regular IBS? For me it’s some days one other days another
Hi, I'm wondering whether keeping chicken for 5 days in the fridge won't make it go bad.
7 days. After 7 days it's no good
I usually don't go past four days but she doesn't have any problem.
Ensure the fridge is at the correct temperature at all times. a small fridge thermometer is useful. Cook til 165F/ 90C internal. sweet
Do you have more of these meal prep videos??? Please make more this is amazing and so hard to find!!
Fabulous. Thank you for the wonderful recipe ideas. I’m going to try them this week.
Thank you for all this recipes. I will try them all. What do you serve your chicken with? Sorry for my English, I'm from Sweden.
So now what do you serve for sides for the chicken?? They all look good. Thanks!
I serve a few different things depending on what I fancy. Sometimes some rice, or on top of nachos, or which mashed potato, fries, on a salad etc.. I make them all the time :D x
How do you eat when you eat out take away etc?
Hi Becky. I really want to start to make smoothies but no idea what to put in as pineapple is quite acidic and worried about fructose for ibs. Any recipe suggestions?
Pineapple in small portions is ok I find. Berries are probably your best bet, spinach too, if you can have banana then definitely use it!! xx
I try to limit as much sugar as possible. So, lately I've been putting spinach, strawberries, blueberries, chia seeds, hemp seeds, beet juice, and sometimes a small amount of orange juice. Citrus fruits contains alot of sugar so I just been using berries.
Beauty for Ashes Instead of juice, I like to put a nut milk into my smoothies for the liquid. :)
I just need to find a good low fodmap recipes & make my own and freeze it so I have it on hand 😉
number 4, over and out! this is so wholesome
I have to start a low FODMAP diet and a bit worried and feel so lost...😔😢
I don't why people make fool of others. I had IBS for 6 years but now i have 100% cured it. Guys don't pay anything to anyone else. I assure you that you can cure yourself easily without paying a single dollar to any one..

Hi there I have gastritis what food I can eat ?
oh thanks for this, just found out I need to go dairy free, I didn't have a clue as I'm not a great cook, this as helped me a lot, I did eat what I wanted over Christmas suffered for it, I'm glad I found you I will look at other videos ta again x
Where is the jar from please
Thank you for your information. I am finding so much conflicting fodmap.. ibs.. information. I dont know what to snack on, one thing says applesauce is fine, but apples arent?
I will try your recipes and information out and see how i do.
I suggest you go straight to the monash university resources. They are the leaders in this research field and have the most up to date info. The older lists from different sources will give conflicting information.
Where did you get your glass jars for the soup? I guess the little inserts not the actual jars. What are they called?
Thanks for such an informative video - my partner and I are trying a low fodmap diet as he has been struggling with many IBS symptoms. Tried the frittata and it was awesome.
Isn't tomatoes bad for IBS, since they are very acidic?
Thank you for receipts would If you can post them please thanks again I’m going to try and will be watching for more 👌🤞👍👍🥰
How much prosciutto was used please?
How is the chicken cooked? I realize this is an old video but do you prefer to bake or cook on a pan?
We tend to bake, then chop it once cooked and throw it in with stir-fries, salads or into sauce/veg. Hope that helps!
Where do you get the jars from
your video was very good i dear which supermarket come from maybe Tray that soon very useful Tips
Don't the carrots go black?
Will it keep in the fridge for 5days?
Loved this! What an awesome plan!!! I'm inspired. Thank you.
Please show more weekly preps!
I love fritatta, often make it in muffin cups too and take them out on the go! xx
karen jones pineapple is a great marinade sub. It has enzymes in it that tenderizes meat beautifully.
What is garlic confused oil?
Oh my goodness I'm not sure if it's just because I'm high or do you not have an oven door?! 2:59
because somehow no one else commented and asked this haha thank you for this video!
Holy crap you’re right
@@kourtneyk7944 it’s been three months with no answers haha
Elle well luckily I chose to click here today lol
Very nicely done. I love your video! Thank you for sharing ❤️
All looks so delicious! Thank you for gifting these recipes. Also loved your southern accent when you were making the bbq chicken 💖
Aww no problem, glad you enjoyed it! xx
Can you tell us what chilli paste you used please? Home made?
What's the difference between free ranged eggs and caged free?
What kind of pan did you use with the Frittata?
Hi guys! Can you please help me with an info... Are all salads FODMAP free? Tnx :))
Hey, just wondering where you got the jars from? Such a good idea :)
They are made by Kilner, I got them in Dunelm :) xx This is the link to the one I use (they do a slightly bigger one too): www.kilnerjar.co.uk/index.php/kilner-range/create-and-make/snack-on-the-go.html x
Becky Excell thank you so much!:)
I've just bought one of these jars! :D
It says not to use boiling water in it though but you've done it with yours and it's fine?
Hey, I didn't even notice that you shouldn't and it was fine for me! (should probably read labels!!)
I gave it a go and it seemed fine :) They probably just do that for people who'd complain it's broken after misusing it
Would love more like this. Really struggle with my meals x
No problems Lesley, I am hoping to get lots more recipes up in the New Year xx
Anyone know where I can purchase those jars please? I loved this video and miss pot noodles so much...
I got mine from Dunelm xx
Thank you beaut xxxxx
Very new to the low FODMAP, so garlic is a no for sure but garlic infused oil is okay? 🤞🏼
Holly-Pop Haynes yes
Just curious, what fodmap groups are you sensitive to? I'm sensitive to what I think is the hardest group in terms of convenience, the fructans :(
Fructans are probably the worst as onion and garlic just kill me :( xx
Thank you for all those lovely marinade ideas! You did some nifty editing there, handling the chicken, so we didn’t see how important it is to wash your hands thoroughly before moving on! 😉
what is reduced sodium salt?
How do I find those jars? That is so awesome for soup!
I found them in a shop called Dunelm in the UK - here's the link to the product tho! www.kilnerjar.co.uk/index.php/kilner-range/create-and-make/snack-on-the-go.html x
I got mine in Sainsbury’s. I’m going to try the noodles!
All your tools for the kitchen
Where can I buy them?
Where might i find the jars with the little container that you used for your rice noodle meal? Thank you.
Jill Damron I got mine in Sainsbury’s, it’s made by Kilner.
Sade Metsävirta me too! I’m getting so down. I’ll try anything. I ate chicken and rice three days now. No luck.
But what do you eat with the chicken breasts?
Those are really nice. I'd have gone ahead and baked the chicken, but that's me.
You definitely could bake the chicken if you wanted to :) x
I meant bake them all on Sunday and microwave one each day. That's what I do actually.
What minced chili is used on the videos?
I just found this wonderful video! I am so excited to find some of the products that you mention, especially the Fody line. Where can I find jars like the one you use for the Pho noodles recipe? Those are brilliant! I am so sick of feeling sick, and I am just beginning to try a low FODMAP diet. Recipes like this make it seem real and doable.
Okay please tell me whats up with onion and garlic? Why cant you use?
Thank you for sharing Becky, will definitely try this out.
No problem, hope you enjoy! x
