If I wasn't watching I would have guessed this was a repost of Florian Boesch's performance, whom I consider one of the best performers of this piece.

The Messiah oratory was inspired by God to a true christian, George F. Handel from Germany,
who belonged to the church that Martin Luther started.
He was brilliant. But there is no evidence whatsoever for a supernatural creator.
