To commence our adventure, we boarded a flight from HNL to PDX, eager to explore the wonders of Oregon. Upon landing, we swiftly transitioned into our dependable Dollar Mid-Size SUV. We then settled into the welcoming comfort of Hyatt Place Portland Airport/Cascade Station.
🌲 Day 2: Waterfall Wonderland
Our road trip officially commenced as we set out for Hood River, a route adorned with picturesque scenery that left us in awe. Our first stop led us to Latourell Falls, a serene oasis where the tranquility of nature embraced us. Next, we ventured deeper into the Oregon wilderness to discover Bridal Veil Falls, a hidden gem awaiting our arrival. The pinnacle of our day's exploration was undoubtedly Multnomah Falls, an iconic landmark that left an indelible mark on our journey. With the day's adventures behind us, we found respite at the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn, re-energizing for the adventures that awaited.
🌲 Day 3: Lake Serenity and Rock Climbing
The day greeted us with the promise of tranquility as we embarked on a journey to Trillium Lake, a place where serenity and nature intertwined seamlessly. Eager for the next thrilling chapter of our adventure, we journeyed to Smith Rock State Park, a renowned destination for rock climbing enthusiasts. Our restful haven for the night was the Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend.

With our sights set on Sparks Lake, a paradise for nature lovers, we embarked on a picturesque drive to this pristine destination. The climax of the day was a mesmerizing sunset that painted the sky in vibrant hues, a sight we won't soon forget. As evening descended, we roamed the vibrant streets of Bend, capturing the essence of this charming town.
🌲 Day 5: Silver Falls and Coastal Delights
Our journey continued, leading us to Silver Falls State Park, a lush green haven boasting enchanting waterfalls. The mesmerizing beauty of Silver Falls left an indelible impression, and we couldn't help but be captivated by the natural splendor that surrounded us. Our next destination was Newport, a coastal gem, where we anticipated a tranquil evening. The day culminated with a breathtaking sunset at Newport Beach, a serene moment etched into our memories.

Venturing further along the Oregon coast, we arrived at Cape Kiwanda, a coastal wonderland where rugged cliffs met the crashing waves of the Pacific. We explored the tide pools and breathtaking views at Hug Point before settling in for the night at the Cannon Beach Hotel Collection.

Our road trip came full circle as we embarked on a scenic drive back to the vibrant city of Portland. Our final night's stay was at the Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland, providing us with the perfect opportunity to explore the city's vibrant culture one last time.
