I think it's safe to say, you have a museum there, and a beautiful one at that. Excellent video Sir. Senior's property is so beautiful in the fall. He did an amazing job building it up to what it is now. Definitely a slice of heaven on earth.
I loved this episode! The shuttling of tractors was fun to watch and see Toby's dream come true. I now live in Florida and truly miss fall colors. A visual treat. Thank you Toby.
That’s a great day on the Squatch compound. Congratulations on moving into the new shed. That took a lot of time and dedication and should last a lifetime. And the leaves are an added bonus. Thanks for taking all of us like minded folks along 👍👍
What a parade of vintage machinery. The silhouette shot of the 212 against the sky was fantastic. You and Senior working smart together to make things happen. Congratulations.
I am blown away at how well your stuff runs for a lot of it sitting long periods of time. If my stuff sits that long it always wants to fight to get going again
Thanks, the best thing I ever did was start running the carbs dry and draining the gas out of the tanks if it was something that was going to sit for more than 6 months - most times now it’s just splash some fresh fuel in and go. Worst case scenario the points might need to be cleaned, but that’s about the worst of it 👍
When bringing Sr’s Super M was so cool that the camera frame rate and the wheel speed was just right that it looked like you were just sitting on a stationary tractor and the scenery was just passing by.
Hey Squatch, beautiful footage once again. Seeing the 212 moving again and towing the Farmall. Makes once again clear to me what a great hobby we all have. Appreciated that you share this !
Hollywood spends millions of dollars on content. I’m happy watching a two good men work in their shed. Squatch, I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your channel!
Apparently I never got the notification for this episode and missed it until now! My comment finally made an episode! I'm honored! Lol keep up the good work.
0:57 Literally a few seconds into this scene i noticed the shinny floor and thought the same as everyone else😅😅 Also your Ten has better tracks than every tracked machine our family ever owned😆
Squatch, congratulations on moving all that beautiful vintage equipment into your dream building. So nice to see you and Senior working together along with all your vintage equipment which all runs so very well. Thanks for sharing this special day. I enjoyed your video very very much.
Fantastic achievement! The finish on that concrete floor looks beautiful. We use the same technique to move things around inside the shop. The fall colors look beautiful up there. By the way you need a "cleaner" to run around and put pans under everything, 😂. Thanks for the video. 👍
It’s possible that this is the first time in its life the 212 has been housed. Great to see all those machines together after all the time and effort that has gone in to saving and rebuilding them.
I don’t know for certain, but at one time that 212 was owned by a construction company near Duluth MN so I would say that might’ve been the most likely time that it could’ve had a roof to be under when it wasn’t being used. After that, I do know that it had spent a couple decades on that farm that we bought it from, being outdoors the entire time. Now we’ve had it here at least 10-12 years and this is the first time we’ve ever been able to get it in out of the weather 👍
So good to see the red shed completed and now put to use as intended! That grader doesn't turn on a dime! Just about the opposite of what a track vehicle can do. Congratulations on move in day, and what a beautiful day too do it.
Yep buddy Bob has to turn in with his graders the same way, there’s plenty of black tire marks out on the road showing the wide swings lol 😂 Another reason is because all these graders have solid rear axles, so no differentials to make turning easier - a lot of tire scrubbing goes on during tight turns because the drive wheels are all fighting each other.
You guys are awesome .. father and son working together, just the way it should be! It seems like you took on Senior's attention to details, Squatch! This is great and always a pleasure to see you guys work in unison. God Bless you guys!
Everything in that building looks great, and is all snug and secure for the coming winter months. I know you call the new building the "Red Shed", but with all the labors of love you have in there, one could also call it the "Toy Box!"
A couple of nice ramps and that 10 could go right up on the mezzanine! Red shed is looking great, must be a good feeling to see it all coming together! Thanks for the content as always.
I don't think I've noticed it before, but I grew up on a 140 Farmall that had those two rib steers on it like that front left on your Super W4 and I always thought they were the coolest front tires on a tractor. The more I think on it, the more I want a W series.
That Building and inside carpentry makes for a First class Museum. Add in the beautiful Fall weather and leaf scenery, makes for an all around Mint setting!!
At first I was bit disappointed, drive those crawlers over the red shed. But then the respect was given when the Grader, the W4s and the Farmall were driven over. A shot there on the Farmall I think I saw you smiling driving quick down the road. Looking good!
The trouble I have with driving the tracked machines over is although the two properties are basically adjoining, because the Red Shed is on the other side of the paved road it means I don’t have a path to take that wouldn’t tear up the asphalt with the tracks. Referring back to the “Behind the Scenes #237” episode where I did the aerial drone tour showing the lay of the land, the large swamp that borders each side of the main road prevents me from even having a road shoulder that I could take 👍
What a beautiful and fun day that was moving your vintage treasures to your big red shed. Those things are ready for a cold winter in their new home. The loft which they are parked under is really neat. Which machine is your favorite? 🚜 👍
1. You are going to need a bigger shed. 2. You will need a remote monitoring alarm system with all that valuable machinery there. You have a pretty impressive collection. :-)
Good morning Toby & Senior, The red shed is definitely turning into a thing of beauty not only outside but what's inside too. You made steering that grader look so easy! I bet you made some tire marks on that main road when turning into your drive. They will make people think what on earth has happened 😂
This was a cool and fun video to watch. Kind of a small scale cold-start-a palooza , in which of course most of your equipment fires up flawlessly, combined with a lovely fall drive and the satisfaction of bedding in these treasured antiques in their beautiful new home. The 212 grader was my favorite - really got a sense of how it is operating such a piece of equipment from the driver's seat. Will the 2 RD-6s (wide and standard gauge) stay where they are for now? Congratulations again, Squatch and Sr. Happy to be a part of your endeavors and thanks for sharing with us. Youse good people.
The jerky clutch syndrome strikes again. I remember my father's Oliver 70 got parked for a couple years and when we got it started, the clutch was jerky. That sucker would shake your teeth loose when Dad started to drive it. He thought we were going to have to put a clutch in it. I told him to let me try something before we did that. I did a few high gear takeoffs and it smoothed right out. I checked the free play adjustment and it went right to work.
What about the rd6? Are we going to hear that legendary three cylinder anytime soon? I've been subscribed to your channel for a while now, and I'm so impressed with what you created. You found a way to make a living doing what you love, with the added bonus of entertaining us. Some of us might even learn something, too. I always admired how good you and your dad worked together. And for that, I thank you.
Fantastic to see you moving in! I’ve been waiting all day for this episode. Now think of how the collection can expand with all those hidey holes freed up at Sr.’s. 😂😂😂
You have no idea how badly i want to buy that cat ten of yours. not that i want to take characters from your channel, but that lil guy is irresistible. I'm glad to see your new storage solution coming to completion, its fun to see the collection in one place
You two guys remind me of two kids on Christmas morning so sweet and heartwarming Sr is an awesome dad and you are the son every dad like me dreams of having!! Happy fall fellows enjoy each other that what life is REALLY about, not money fame and celebrity!
Great video 👍 nice to see the old iron stored under cover 👌 have to say when everything you do is done conscientiously that you didn't tow the W4 on a pole 🤔👍
It is amazing how nicely those old tractors start and run. They look good all lined up. Maybe you should hang blue ribbons on a couple of them, now that they are in the museum.
Incredible! The Ten seems only awaiting the starting! Comes literally on first turn support the chain press with some wooden blocks? Those rollers tend to deteriorate under heavy loads
Great video, that ole grader sounds sweet, I would like to see the road tags tho LOL. The way all your equipment starts, they start better than a new vehicle, they don't even make a full revolution and they're running. That is one awesome property you fellas have there.
Thanks for sharing! That's getting to be a shed full already. I am excited to see it all come together under one roof. There could be some great story time videos in that shed talking about each machine.
Jeez. I would have loved to purchased a new chain from Florin tractor for my D-2. Just wasn’t in the cards for me. Nice shed by the way! Also nice to have that beautiful collection in one spot.
Given how smooth the floor is, i wonder if throwing a rug upside down, with a plywood on top, wouldn't work to serve as a pivot point for a load on it. I've never done it with a vehicle, but i have rotated the final drives of a D10 with this method in a pinch - with a long cheater bar bolted to the drive unit. It was either that or dismantling the A-frame that was on the other side of the shop, blocked by the body of the beast. So yeah, carpet, cheap plywood, lumber for handle and twist.
Very nice. I see you even took into consideration the height of the equipment exhaust stacks when you designed your loft. During college the builder I worked for had 2 D2s and a newer 212 that had the tandem axles. The 212 had a bad clutch so we didn’t use it on the job sites, but I’d fire it up occasionally and run it around the property. I had a lot of seat time on the old D2s.
Perfect use of old flat belting! I was thinking old round baler belting would work good too. The Red Shed looks super with 4 CATs and many Farmalls in it.
Opening shot of offloading the Iron Mistress with the sun setting in the background was a truly artistic bit of video! Don't try and tell us you're not an artist!
Your shop and the new shed are so amazing with the attention to detail and everything being perfect. It's fun to see that back in the weeds under the trees, you have as much junk err treasures as the rest of us. 😀
Heck yeah! All the machines ran great, thanks for posting the video. Like others have mentioned you got quite the collection happening to start a museum. Fantastic.
If you were anywhere near me I'd supplied you old 3+ ft wide conveyor belt. That Super M is such a beautiful tractor. BTW, Senior is AWESOME.

What a beautiful video with the blue skies, and turning leaves!

Truly a treat to see it all, the completion of the pole barn and the storage its for coming together

Wow! The line up of tractors just makes the building look that much nicer. Just easy on the eyes everything nice and neat.
I had a Cat 212 Grader, mine had Tandem Drive!! I’ve never seen single drive, except the early “Auto-Patrol” graders?!!

@@squatch253 do you use the iron mistress at all during the winter or does she sit in the shed until spring?
All my Cats typically sit in the sheds all winter - haven’t had a snowfall event big enough yet to require us to bring out the heavy equipment lol 👍
Love the headlight placement on the non operating W4. It looks like frog eyes.
Wonderful day you had for the move
I love the Ten. It's the Cub Cadet garden tractor of it's day. Thanks for the video, Squatch.
Very nice to see many of your tractors together in their new barn! Love your content.
So good to see the red shed completed and now put to use as intended! That grader doesn't turn on a dime! Just about the opposite of what a track vehicle can do.

If the red shed were mine I'd put some lights and outlets in place and bring a portable genset to power the place on a temporary basis.
I'm never over there when the sun isn't already out, so no need for lights yet :-)
You just have to love the sound of an old Farmall.
You guys are awesome .. father and son working together, just the way it should be! It seems like you took on Senior's attention to details, Squatch! This is great and always a pleasure to see you guys work in unison. God Bless you guys!
Those gorgeous red-leaved maples behind the building! Almost-almost- made me wish I was back in a place with winter!
Couldn't believe the way that little Ten just barked straight up when you flicked the handle!
I like the way the tires were strobing going down the street. 😃
the treads were strobing perfectly at full speed
Sure would be great to see a showroom restoration on that 212 grader
Fun to see all the tractors come out of the wood work! lol!
This is only about half of them though lol ;-)
@@squatch253 Lol! May need another red shed!
@@StubProductionshe may need a yellow shed, so he can better sort and organize by color of what goes were, though his eye twitch will be crazy
