    The test drive car that Capital Honda OMR gave me, had already completed 20,000 kms when they handed it over to me for a test drive. And I was really impressed with the way such an aged car drove. Booked the City VX MT right away without any further hesitation. Completed 12,000 kms already within the first ten months of purchasing it. Enjoying every mile of it! 😊

      You can never regret buying a Honda that's for sure. And an MT means more fun too 😊

      What about the ground clearance..? Is there any serious issues with the ground clearance..??

      @@mukeshlalwani5613 Completed 14,000 kms so far. I have driven the car on highways, inside cities and extremely bad roads with five adults and full boot loaded. Highways and normal roads are a joy to drive. On bad roads, we should definitely be careful. I have never scraped my car till now..but when I see a bad road, I don't cross 20km/hr. I drive extremely slow and carefully to avoid scrapping. And I have been successful so far. With one or two persons load, the car easily manages bad roads as well.

      @@mukeshlalwani5613 My city has currently run 14k kms. I have driven in various conditions like highways, inside cities and extremely bad roads. On highways and inside city normal roads it's a charm to drive. But we need to be extremely careful in bad roads. I have driven with five adults and full boot loaded in extremely bad roads and never scraped the bottom mainly because I always drive extremely slow and never cross 20kms/hr on bad roads. So it is possible to avoid scraping the bottom, but requires that attention while driving in bad roads.

      I have a 3rd gen which is right now at 1.4lakh kms. Neither Engine nor transmission give away its age. It is just the same way as I have bought it. Steering rack seems to have aged, but one of my friends did not replace it and he is now 2lakh kms +. I will need to keep an eye on that.

    Hi, the engine isn't the same. The previous generations had a SOHC setup, this gen has a DOHC setup.

    Questions for you sir, did you consider any compact SUVs when you chose your car and why did did you stick to a sedan? If you buy a car in a couple of years (assuming you only have the same models that we have now in your choice), which one would you go for?

    How is ac and nvh? Found the ac not cooling in afternoon sun on my test drive car. Also how is nvh levels on road?

    • @milegobbler

      I've gone through 45C temp without a problem! Make sure your resurculation vent is closed and Eco mode button is turned off. With nvh, I'm very happy with overall quietness at all times

    Your brakes vibrating could be a result of scoring on the rotor. While it's not a problem, you can replace rotor and pads after completing 40k kms.

    How is the cabin insulation? All reviewers say there's a lot of tyre noises. How is your experience in that regard?

    • @milegobbler
      @milegobbler  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's very quiet! I guess it depends on expectations. If you expect Mercedes levels of quite you might not get that. But insulation is done the best way they could and nitrogen in tyres in helps too!

      @milegobbler  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Every vehicle in this category these days has good ratings on safety but I would only say the City has been tried and tested too many times over many many years and Honda does not compromise anywhere usually 🚗
