That's not armour at the front. N reality it's a fold down trim vane to prevent water washing into the drivers area when in amphibious mode. It's not supposed to detach from its two blue hinges either as you showed in this video. I wish yoh had properly shown its features. I don't know whether figures can sit inside the rear, whether tge seat or the steering wheel slides forth or back? Sadly the bad camera angle let the video down - however thank you for taking the time to review this toy.

Great find in getting that rare vehicle its a bit better than the regular World Peacekeeper version that came with normal soldiers and stuff since you can put the figures inside while the other ones just have them sticking out from the portholes and yes it would be perfect for GI JOE Cobra Troop transport got several custom version I did from the True Heroes line which I added a Hatch Cover and some glass on window frame overall a Great Review hope to see more!!! "BTW as for the spruce tree parts for the figure the long one that goes on the back is supposed to be a folding SMG which they did not bother to make so they only gave us the folded version and the other one with the rectangular stripe is the extra ammo storage and goes on the either the left or the right side of the leg of the ammo bot and the last is the holster for the pistol which I recommend to superglue it to the side which is sometimes comes of easily it depends on the batch of figure you got and last for attaching the Sniper Rifle support part I suggest filing the opening a little bit so it can go on to the rifle stock and gluing it into place which it might comes of easily and be lost hope this info is helpful".
Word of advice , have it open already to display first , you wasted a good chunk of video trying to open the box . Love the vehicle ! AMAZING.
Kinda ruins the unboxing. In newer videos I'm skipping that part

Most 1:18 scale figures can fit
This vehicle is perfect for G.I. Joe modern figures especially the Cobra troopers!
