They did help by keeping Warwick, the most dangerous puppet, away from them. If he had been on the roof with the others, Ekko wouldn’t have gotten anywhere near Viktor with his machine. But in the end: they all had to face their demons, their regrets. And they had to do it on their own

In all possibilities except one, Jayce fails and the cycle continues as Ekko is not able to come back to his timeline without the acceleration rune.

He has no idea how much time he has to stop Victor so it's a desperate attempt to put a stop to him as soon as possible. It's only after he has had some time to settle down and the mind reading that helps show Jayce that Victor doesn't want that kind of future. Hence going back to being partners.

It violates causality if hextech is never invented beyond the first timeline where presumably Viktor did it on his own. To "close the loop" they have to create a situation where Viktor makes the choice himself (without his memories of other timelines).

Victor wants to live. He just comes to the realization that his Glorious Evolution is not all that Glorious. Yes, if he had not given the rune to Jayce the bad future would be averted, but that would mean he would also cease to be.

Something to note: Mage Viktor kept his Jayce trapped as an automaton. It wasnt a garden in honour of him; he kept him there as a prisoner for all time. He then manipulated and guided Jayce into this endless time loop so *he* could find happiness. Then, of course, is the Age of Ultron and Steven Universe forgiveness speech. While the visuals are very pretty, the writing is incredibly weak. There's no concept of Chaos theory and Viktor couldn't let go of the fact he caused the apocalypse, so he perpetuated the apocalypse. Music is nice, though. Oh and btw Mage Viktor looks like Asmongold.
Maybe Mage Viktor wasn't the Viktor that got Jayce stuck as an automaton. He can talk about multiple timelines, so I'm guessing he can travel through them as well. He also tries to stop the apocalypse through Jayce, maybe he doesn't do it himself because he can't even convince himself of the harm he will bring (only you can show me this). He also wants himself and Jayce alive, and Jayce is hellbent on getting hextech invented (or else he'll commit suicide).

no ofc they didn't , u saw how all the characters regained their consciousness after Viktor stopped the chaos that includes Jayce as well so he is alive 100% after that , as for Viktor what I think will happen is he will lose that type of celestial power and he will just be a mostly machine ( in the lore he is named the machine herald ) so I just think he won't be this celestial Tier op level ! but yeah they can't kill Jayce or Viktor cuz they are too important for the story

@@Blatsugo Machine herald viktor is not canon anymore. So more or less this is the end for viktor's and jayce's character. Even tho if they come back that wont be close to what we would expect based on the game.

It violates causality if hextech is never invented beyond the first timeline where presumably Viktor did it on his own. To "close the loop" they have to create a situation where Viktor makes the choice himself (without his memories of other timelines).
There is one question. İf victor didn't give jayce that rune in the begining or save jayce from that storm, would all these happen? simply viktor would die and happy ending. Right? Like killing baby thanos 😅 I think I should stop watching too much paralel reality based movies.
if viktor didnt give jayce the runs then the future of piltover will be exactly what the future viktor was living in ! fully destroyed cuz no one stopped the old viktor , so jayce was the only way all this time along
@Blatsugo it's a paradox. If viktor never saved jayce, hextech would have never existed, meaning none of the events that led to machine herald viktor would have ever happened

Victor wants to live. He just comes to the realization that his Glorious Evolution is not all that Glorious. Yes, if he had not given the rune to Jayce the bad future would be averted, but that would mean he would also cease to be.
@@silverdrago6399 Which is why we should assume that hextech can be discovered with combination of Victor and someone else we dont know of. Perhaps singed etc - that was his first timeline which resulted in glorious evolution. Then he tried to stop it from happening by giving rune to many other people and only Jayce could stop that.

Something to note: Mage Viktor kept his Jayce trapped as an automaton. It wasnt a garden in honour of him; he kept him there as a prisoner for all time. He then manipulated and guided Jayce into this endless time loop so *he* could find happiness.
Then, of course, is the Age of Ultron and Steven Universe forgiveness speech. While the visuals are very pretty, the writing is incredibly weak. There's no concept of Chaos theory and Viktor couldn't let go of the fact he caused the apocalypse, so he perpetuated the apocalypse.
Music is nice, though. Oh and btw Mage Viktor looks like Asmongold.
Maybe Mage Viktor wasn't the Viktor that got Jayce stuck as an automaton. He can talk about multiple timelines, so I'm guessing he can travel through them as well. He also tries to stop the apocalypse through Jayce, maybe he doesn't do it himself because he can't even convince himself of the harm he will bring (only you can show me this). He also wants himself and Jayce alive, and Jayce is hellbent on getting hextech invented (or else he'll commit suicide).
@@super0spore0fan Nah, fam, that's the Viktor that caused this entire thing. And he isn't stopping the apocalypse through Jayce - he keeps creating it because he *knows* Jayce will meet his other self and invent Hextech and the cycle continues. It is not good writing.

Mage Viktor kept repeating timelines to give Jayce the crystal so he could invent Hextech to create the apocalypse...to prevent another apocalypse in another timeline where he creates the apocalypse...and it's all because of what? Love? Enlighten me.
@@blacktigerpaw1 the rune wasnt needed to create hextech so idk why u think viktor giving it to him caused hextech. a magic obsession isnt gonna cause a apocalypse, it was jayce trying to override nature by controlling magic artificially which caused all the problems and that was his idea alone. he had complete free will there. blaming viktor for that seems a bit,,,,
viktor is not perpetuating a cycle he is stuck in one trying to undo it pretty big difference. not gonna address the love thing cause i am pretty sure viktor says "only you can stop me" cause jayce merged the hexcore with viktor in those universes to bring him back from the dead. they both did pretty fucked up things for eo so imma not go there
