Yes, Sawgrass Sublijet-UHD ink will work great with Forever Subli-Flex 202. Just remember to set your Sawgrass Print Manager Edition to "Forever" for best results. For a more concise and detailed tutorial, check out this video: th-cam.com/video/ZEiILv9XdBg/w-d-xo.html
Great video! It's motivating me to get started on sublimation and heat transfer. I do have a question regarding the printer. I know that Jared mentioned they can only speak for this method working on a Sawgrass printer. But has anyone tried it out using an Epson Printer (like the ET-2720)? I would assume it wouldn't cause too much of a difference as long as the ink is standard sublimation ink (the one I'm considering buying for the Epson is Xcinkjet Sublimation Ink). Thanks!
The Sawgrass SG500 has 3 different ink options. This product will work best with Sublijet-HD/UHD ink and is also compatible with EasySubli inks. This will not work with ChromaBlast.
It feels very similar to regular HTV. It might be A LITTLE bit thicker?? If you'd like to test it for yourself, we sell smaller packs of 10: www.heatpressnation.com/forever-subli-flex-202-8-5-x-11-10-sheets.html
Hi from the UK. I find NOT using the 10 sheets of paper. Just use one sheet helps it stick to T.shirt better. Then cold peel and put back under the press with parchment paper for 30 seconds.
Can anyone help, please? I have an SG400 and I am using the SubliSplash inks. I am also just starting to use a Silhouette Cameo 4 cutter to print and cut images to sublimation vinyl, however even though I can choose my SG400 printer (SG400 RPCS-R) through the Silhouette Studio software print menu, I cannot find a way to make it use the SubliSplash ICC colour profile. Any help would be appreciated.
For this episode, we used Forever Subli-Flex 202. It's a printable heat transfer vinyl that you can print on directly with your sublimation printer. In this case, we printed onto the Subli-Flex 202 using our Sawgrass SG400. We then trimmed away the background of the image using our Silhouette Cameo's Print & Cut feature. We completed the rest of the process in this video.
Utilizamos Google Translate).
Yea cost different are massive compere to sublimation papers and adding easy sprays. A4 siser easysubli cost around $13 per shit A4 sublimation paper cost around 0.10 cents and spray 250ml around $25 and u can use for approximately for 60 t shirts. So no thx I better stay for sublimation paper 😉
They are both printable HTV products that feed directly into your Sawgrass sublimation printer. You print onto the HTV, cut out your graphic if necessary, then heat press them onto your garment. During the heat press process, the sublimation ink will be activated on the HTV. The process for both is slightly different, since EasySubli has to be masked (th-cam.com/video/y-KTvJs5otY/w-d-xo.html) and Subli-Flex 202 comes on a mask already (as shown in this video). The other difference is that Subli-Flex 202 has a glossy finish and EasySubli is more matte.
Thanks for the tip. We just got this product here at HPN and were following the manufacturer's instructions. We haven't had time to test different application settings just yet. But we'll for sure try your suggestion!

I’m using a Silhouette Cameo 4 and I Just purchased this product what will be the best cut settings to use?
Try using the "heat transfer, smooth" preset in Silhouette Studio. Do a test cut first and adjust from there as necessary.
I think making mistakes help everyone and we are not perfect so I think trail by error help you be better

Does this work with Epson 7720 sublimation
Hi Sharon. I've been told Subli-Flex 202 has a slight gloss finish. Is it possible to make it look more matte after it's been applied?
Just sublimation paper or paper the one they are using with gloss?
Great video
Gonna get started in about 2 months Thanks a lot

They are both for sublimation ink, but how is the feel of the material
Why are they doing it all wrong
First press 5-10 seconds cool it peel off
Second press 30 seconds and done
