Tim, I'm not sure how the lights are bothering anyone. If someone is awake, it's not a big deal; doesn't hurt them at all. If someone is sawing logs, they'd never even know someone drove by with flashing lights. Running a siren in a neighborhood in the night would be a different story.
I think its funny when people get up in arms about code 3. "You didnt have the siren on the whole trip, how dare you!" Lol. Its common sense to not run that thing when its not needed
My question is even with all the emergency lighting equipment do you still have to go the speed limit? I ask this because on the highway I would have booked it and you didn't seem to do that. Nice video!
Good God the stupid drivers...I always make room for emergency vehicles even when stuck in traffic. Then there are the ones who keep driving through the intersection even when emergency vehicles have lights and sirens blaring

I think he is more than likely a first responder. and has his personal vehicle equipped with lights and sirens, and responds to the scene before EMS/Fire Department arrives

Just terrible driving. WHY WOULD YOU PASS ANY VEHICLE ON THE RIGHT DRIVING CODE 3. Traffic laws, in pretty much all states, require you pull over to the right for emergency vehicles and you pass on the right you are asking for someone to hit you or cut you off... JUST TERRIBLE CODE 3 DRIVING.

At highway speeds you "outrun" the siren. People only hear it when you're right on top of them so we shut it off.
