Linkin Park was never strangers to changing up their sound. People always compare the band to the first 2 albums. They have like 5 or more albums after that so people just need to f*kng chill.
Great artist always die by their head. If they did the type of songs thinking about the audience and not their message they would never be groundbreaking. There's no way a commercial sound would have the uniqueness of the impact they had/have on music
