Vacationed in Ireland back in May 2017. Started out in Dublin, onto Shakerstown, Sligo, Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Ring of Kerry, Blarney Castle, back to Dublin. Beautiful Country with Beautiful people, loved it!
I really like the way Brown does these travel videos. She is genuine, absolutely inquisitive, interested and interesting. And efficient. The woman can do Texas in 26 minutes and make it fun and informative.
Lovely video. I'm a descendent of King Red Hugh O'Donnell, I was hoping you would visit his main castle in Donegal Town. I hope to take my wife there soon.
Started tearing up during the beginning in Sligo my Granny grew up there in I remember visiting her relatives in Mullaghmore not far from where who were harvesting the seaweed. Her niece owned a farm at the foot of Benbulben...
Enjoy it while you can, the Ireland of old is fast disappearing. Consider yourself privileged to actually see an Irish person in towns and cities nowadays.
Thank you so much Samantha! Thank you for uploading full episodes now! I MISS Passport to Europe and all your shows so much ❤😊 My most intense passion is to travel and learn. Your shows and your energy are what first gave me this passion. I’ve only been to Mexico and the states but I hope to start traveling a lot more in the coming years. It’s so painful seeing all my friends and family be able to travel so much, so frequently, all over the world. I just don’t have the time or money yet, BUT SOON!!!
thanks so much for posting, this is a bucket list stop form me, my great grandparents emigrated from rathmullin to Winnipeg Manitoba in the late 1800's I have family that have visited and they all say the same how beautiful the landscape and people.
At last! An inquisitive video, not your normal 'look at the places I saw that are the same as the places everyone else saw' video. Donegal must have had the most emigrants - they have the songs that capture the lonliness emigration. 'The Homes of Donegal' (Paul Brady Version) and Home to Donegal' (Nathan Carter version is good). Your video was excellent.
Why don't you say the name of that pub with the Trad session in Crossconnell going on? I did find it, but wasn't easy. What day of the week did you go there? A lot of pubs tend to have them only one or two days a week and I struggle to find them on days when I'm actually going to be in a particular part of Ireland. If they have a Saturday session (which I think they're Sunday only) then I'd definitely stay in that town.
You should have talked to a few locals. Almost every place name is pronounced different to how you pronouced them. Nothing wrong with that I suppose, but I just had to pause to see where you were.
The only thing you need to do next, is to accept the LORD JESUS CHRIST as your savior. John 3:16 Context 13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
