    I like the open concept with the dining room next to kitchen. Plus all the windows. Also like the dark office.

    The dining room should be close to the kitchen, so that the food and dishes etc. can be transported easily. I said this before; I like that the bathroom and coat closet for guests is near the entrance. Good job!

    Dining room in its own room. Logistically and logically, it makes the most sense. When three rooms are all combined, makes it less room to decorate and like an apartment/loft (less luxurious).

    You should get a hand held laser measuring tool for room measurements. Just carry it with you as part of your tour kit.

    Reading the comments seems like Americans would hate Australian homes because 90% of new homes are open concept and we LOVE it.

    When I looked at the floor plan at the beginning I thought the same thing about the pantry.. it would be a lot more convenient to be able to
    access it right from the garage. You could also leave a space for a freezer. 😊😊😊😊

      @OhHeyItsShey 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I was thinking the same! I would personally turn the study into the mudroom that attaches to both the front door and the garage and turn the existing mudroom into a much larger pantry with the original, throw in an extra freezer, and leave the door to the garage for easy grocery unloading.

    Why do these expensive ______ homes do these cheap ____ wire shelves and rods........😐😐😐. A million dollar home should have wood shelves and rods in all closets, Pantries etc.......and NO jack and jill bathrooms.....each room should have it's own bathroom.....

    Great home! iLove the open concept AND the large windows for all the light. Nice bonus room, my view would have to forest/mountains but you can't get the mountains in Ontario Canada! Great basement, would want the dry bar to be a wet instead, and totally agree with the opening of that closet in the mudroom to make it into a larger pantry. Thanks for the video and keep it coming!!

    I absolutely really love the layout of this place and the exterior of it. My favorite parts are the floating shelves in the kitchen and where the pantry sits. I have other ideas for the basement.

    Thanks for the videos. I don’t understand why in these new, expensive homes, the office is near the front entrance with glass doors. May look pretty, but this room holds private info, computers, etc. It’s accessible to anyone so easily.

    I might be in the minority, but the double oven’s seem to be in an odd place in the kitchen. I like the light and bright entry with the soaring ceiling.

  • @KatieReadsKoziesAndMore
    @KatieReadsKoziesAndMore 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Why do they put double ovens right next to the refrigerator? I know the units are insulated. But they aren’t in a vacuum. Put the ovens near the stove. Keep the refrigerator isolated from the heat-producing units.

    • @ImBooX2
      @ImBooX2 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A modern wall insert fridge like that is super insulated and any modern oven inserts have to be super insulated since they are boxed in. If you want you could opt for the builder to use a fireproof insulation in the wall between the fridge and the ovens.

    Not sure about the bathroom and toilet leading into both bedrooms?

    • @darrellgrant7615
      @darrellgrant7615 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s common for kid’s bedrooms. That’s why they’re called Jack and Jill bathrooms. They’re especially a good feature if both your kids are the same sex.They’ve been building them for decades.

    • @edwardjones4550
      @edwardjones4550 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@darrellgrant7615 okay thanks for clarifying. To me that seems to limit the scope of potential buyers, first of all preferably a family with kids, secondly preferably same sex and once they move out the house, you hope your guests, if you get a few over, don't mind.

    You definitely do have trouble pronouncing names in Minnesota. It's Chaaska, not Choska. MN does have unusual names, but I didn't think Chaska was one of them.
