Nope. Toast cannot be predicted by tasks alone. If you watch his streams, he did tasks majority of the time. He does that if he had good enough content already and wanted to give spotlight to others. Toast is also doing detective games while being impostor, he sometimes doesn't do tasks as impostor, majority of the time he does tasks as crewmate. If he wanted to do a good youtube video content as a crewmate, that's where he won't do tasks, and that's why most of the video in his youtube, he's not doing tasks as crewmate. He's very unpredictable.
As a viewer ofcourse you would know he fake or does his tasks but for a player they can only assume until the end of the round. An exception being the players watch the imposter's streams frequently.
To be fair, Lud did see them doing the strat by decontamination.
Actually that makes it worse since he still fell for it.

The difference between Toast playing with his main squad vs him playing with other people at the end of this video just shows the difference in his man squad's overall skill in the game compared to other people. That last game shown in this video was sooo fast and it wasn't even fair at all for the other people there.

At the end it was quite obvious. There were 2 deaths meaning the first had to have happened when toast and syd were together. So that's immediately a red flag for train. Train also said wait toast you reported that? Before proceeding to say I wasn't even there.

It feels so satisfying seeing a team of 5up and Train, two of the world's best impostors, both beaten by Toast. That's the #1 detective at his best.
honestly though, Toast missed two big mistakes by Train, and had to use a more complicated thought process than necessary. Train said he saw Toast near the button at 7:30 but Toast definitely never saw him, also Train slipped up on the last kill when he saw Toast report it, it was obvious he thought Syd would report it, which means that he never intended to report it and only thought to frame syd.

That second game was just beautiful. My favorite thing was how 5up didn't try any cheap defection tactics when Toast called him out (take note Rae, Poki etc). He just took his L with full honor.
5up did blunder there by not calling button, maybe he just didn't realize Toast was observing - then Train did a real good job backing Toast up there. One flaw in Train's argument was when he said he could have tied the votes by voting Toast - there was no way he would know Aria was voting Toast - and if she didn't it was just an insta loss. I'm a bit surprised Toast didn't catch on to that one. Then at the end again Train did a good job saying he wasn't there, and to someone who isn't Toast, Sydney would definitely look most sus. Good call by Toast on the 50-50.
Great play all-round from Toast, 5up and Train. I really wish they would play together more often.
it wasn't a 50 50 but rather sydney was together with toast in the first 20 seconds and 2 kills happened. So it was impossible for sydney to do 2 kills but be with toast in the first 20 seconds, hence train
Actually the fallacy of Train saying he wasn't there when he first stated "wait toast you reported that" he expects Syd to report that, makes it really obvious after he stated he wasn't there, that simple fallacy of presenece is just vague, expecting someone to report it but saying you weren't there, you ain't in cams to say that unless you are there. So for me it's not good he said he wasn't there but good thing Toast didn't catch that so he slid nicely but still get caught hahaha

Tbf, deflection tactics rarely ever work. If you notice the plays of people who can weasel away from getting voted off, they either make a good point to distract the discussion or they wait until someone says something to divert the discussion in that direction. This is why it's also important to know when to bring up discussion topics.
Its not often you see these 3 in the same lobby. Toas plays in more casual lobbies while Train and 5up play in serious ones

His imposter ally mentions he's in Weapons, so he knows he can claim to be there because Scott will vouch for him, and Lauren probably won't remember or, when Scott vouches for him, she'll think she just misremembered. It ends up mattering a lot because it lets him divert the suspicion that Teebs is about to throw on him. Very clutch move by Toast, and smart of Scott to pick up on it. Underappreciated moment.

Not funny I didn't laugh. Your joke is so bad i would have preferred the joke went over my head and you gave up re-telling me the joke. To be honest this is a horrid attempt at trying to get a laugh out of me. Not a chuckle, not a hehe, not even a subtle burst of air came out of my esophagus. You've single handedly killed humor in every comedic act on the planet. i'm so disappointed that society has failed as a whole in being able to teach you how to be funny. honestly if I put in all my power in time to try and make your joke funny it would require Einstein himself to build a device to strap me into so I can be connected to the energy of 1 billion stars to do it, and even then all that joke would get from people is a subtle scuff. you're lucky I still have the slightest of empathy for you after telling that joke otherwise I would've committed every crime in the book just to prevent you from attempting any humor ever again. we should put that joke in textbooks so that future generations can be wary of becoming such an absolute comedic failure. I'm disappointed, hurt, and outright offended that my precious time has been wasted in my brain to understand that joke. in the time that took I was planning on helping kids who had been orphaned, but because of that you've wasted my time explaining the obscene integrity of your terrible attempt at comedy. That means, another unwritten rule if a player(both crew and imp) know there are only 6 people including 2 imp left he should call the button no matter what even without searching for a body which 5up did not do to put a sus on him. To prevent a double kill.
Knowing 5up's skill, toast knew that if 5up was a crewmate, he would've called the button after seeing 6 alive on vital, since he would have no idea how long the body's bren dead and how much cd is left.
@@jccapistrano13 yeah calling a button, when crew is just one double kill away from losing is a pro-move for crews even 5up does it. But tbf as impostor when you're just a double kill away from winning you're kinda more focus on your kill cd and hunting people.
With that in mind, the solution here is that if a lot people are dead and you really dont know who it is and 5up is still alive, its probably him

Another cool trick, on Polus you can cover cameras with your body by standing over them and hide the red blinking light, you can easily catch an imposter like that if they kill thinking no one is on cams.
