It’s a great heli I’ve got 2 of the exact same model. In higher winds I turn up the head speed which help cut and handle through the air a lot easier. Great flight stuck the landing 👍🏼
@@thatsmyrc Thank you on the landing. That was the 3rd take 😀. The MD500 is like 3x faster at level 1 versus the Huey. The Huey is a classic and it is a lot quieter. Right now, I think I like to fly nice and slow so Huey wins. The camera is an iPhone 15 pro max on a head strap. It's a wee bit heavy for the head and I am assuming I have the target within the frame of the camera view. It was a little gloomy so I didn't use my 2013 GoPro 3.
@ nice camera work your in same Boat as I am. I either use a my iPhone 14 Pro on a make shift cap strap or my old hero4. Thats probably why my last vid was so greyish. Used the GoPro on head strap in cloudy gloomy weather. As the video before as my iPhone strapped to baseball cap which had more vivid color yet faced the ground 90% of filming 🤣🤣. I’ll do more testing…I’m suprised the Huey is any slower than the md500 that’s interesting. Thanks for the input. 👍🏼
@@thatsmyrc the iPhone camera is definitely way better than my old GoPro in dark/cloudy condition. The phone head strap is $10 and it mounts close to your forehead. So where you look it should look. My problem is I move my eyes to follow the helo versus turning my head. That’s why sometimes you see the helo flies out of view. lol. And strap is from Amazon of course. lol.

What camera do you use just a phone or a GoPro etc? It’s smooth filming.
