This movie is so silly, funny and bloody (which I don't mind) and I love it. The best friends are ones to have for life. Like, Josh stole it for me when he was on screen. I don't mind some of those teenagers dying because they were awful, yeah, I said it. And of course, you look great as always and I love the choker.

Happy Death Day is the Groundhog Day version of this. And it has a sequel! Definitely recommend if you haven’t seen it already, same creators as this movie.

Tried staying up for the upload but I couldn’t, so this was a great way to start my morning! This movie was SO damn funny, every single joke hit! Vince and Kathryn did such a great job with their roles, Millie and her friends were all so likable, and The Butcher was terrifying in Vince’s body and honestly very easy to kind of root for in Millie’s body. Like he really cleared out almost all of her bullies and tormentors in one day. You’re the highlight of my Sundays Alanda! I’ve been new to horror movies myself, and I’ve started watching the movie you plan to film during the week and even look for some of my own. Can’t wait to see what’s next. I believe the director of this movie also did Happy Death Day which seems like the Groundhog’s Day version of this, and it has a sequel so that could be a good watch for you!

Oh please, do watch The Haunting with us. It’s kinda silly but I love the setting and scenery. It’s a mix of two of my favorites haunted house books, The Haunting of Hill House (Shirley Jackson) and Hellhouse (Richard Matheson).
My favorite scene was definitely when they were trying to explain to Booker and everyone was talking. Also the 5 minutes ahead made me so happy and “I am a f***ing piece.” Yesss🎉

I saw this at the only drive in that was open in LA during Covid and you could hear the people in their cars laughing and screaming. It was so much fun. I watched it again on DVD recently and it was still a good one to watch again. Your commentary is spot on and hilarious!!

This movie is so much fun, and I love that for the most part, you get to root for the murders (which sounds bad now that I'm typing this), and I really enjoyed it! I'm going to have to buy this one so I can watch it again.
If you watch Scary Movie 2, you definitely need to at least see 'The Haunting', the one with Catherine Zeta Jones. Otherwise a lot of references will be missed. Its kind of a "horror lite" genre but still a fun time capsule of late '90s. If you want a bonus film that is referenced, I STRONGLY suggest 'What Lies Beneath' with Michelle Pfeiffer, it is a criminally underrated film and is referenced in SM 2. ❤
39:24 This is not as funny but you might be interested in the 1999 movie 'Titus' - from Shakespeare's early play 'Titus Andronicus' (we're still not sure if he meant the play to be taken seriously or if it's a parody of the really violent plays that were popular at the time). Some of it's.....a lot (to put it mildly). Some of it's kind of hard to watch, warning you ahead of time. I'm mostly mentioning it because of a few characters who like these three scumbags definitely earned their death. And oh boy do they get it good. Also it's got Anthony Lecter (Hannibal himself) in the title role so the casting is perfect.
What's so crazy is I love Alan Ruck. He usually plays such sweet characters. The "nice guy' role. So I found it so strange that he was this asshole abusive wood shop teacher. 😂

This was the last movie I saw in the theatres before Covid shut the world down. I loved it. Vince Vaughn was great. This was funny, brutal at times. A perfect horror comedy. Great selection and reaction to it. Thank you for posting.

Oh please, do watch The Haunting with us. It’s kinda silly but I love the setting and scenery. It’s a mix of two of my favorites haunted house books, The Haunting of Hill House (Shirley Jackson) and Hellhouse (Richard Matheson).
I actually have a lot of time for The Haunting. It wasn’t well received because it feels like a theme park ride but something about it got me!
Yeah, it's fun in a very 90s way.
My favorite scene was definitely when they were trying to explain to Booker and everyone was talking. Also the 5 minutes ahead made me so happy and “I am a f***ing piece.” Yesss🎉

the haunting has an original and a remake btw which i haven’t seen yet but the original is really good and idk which one scary movie 2 references but i would definitely recommend watching the original

Ok so “The Haunting”. Great film. I remember when they showed BTS set piece on “Entertainment Tonight” and remember the house setting being on this grand scale, one that hadn’t been seen in horror movies in a while and it definitely elevates the creep factor. 😮 I remember in your last video, you also mentioned “The Ring” and I may be biased as it’s one of my personal favorite buutttt it’s got my vote as well.

This movie is so much fun, and I love that for the most part, you get to root for the murders (which sounds bad now that I'm typing this), and I really enjoyed it! I'm going to have to buy this one so I can watch it again.

If you watch Scary Movie 2, you definitely need to at least see 'The Haunting', the one with Catherine Zeta Jones. Otherwise a lot of references will be missed. Its kind of a "horror lite" genre but still a fun time capsule of late '90s. If you want a bonus film that is referenced, I STRONGLY suggest 'What Lies Beneath' with Michelle Pfeiffer, it is a criminally underrated film and is referenced in SM 2. ❤

39:24 This is not as funny but you might be interested in the 1999 movie 'Titus' - from Shakespeare's early play 'Titus Andronicus' (we're still not sure if he meant the play to be taken seriously or if it's a parody of the really violent plays that were popular at the time). Some of it's.....a lot (to put it mildly). Some of it's kind of hard to watch, warning you ahead of time. I'm mostly mentioning it because of a few characters who like these three scumbags definitely earned their death. And oh boy do they get it good.
Also it's got Anthony Lecter (Hannibal himself) in the title role so the casting is perfect.
Oh that movie is wild! I love Alan Cumming as the emperor, and the costumes are something else! But yeah, the subject matter is distressing...
I love this woman's sense of humor! She has a light soul! We need more light souls like her!
