Wow 🤩 I can’t imagine how JP is feeling right now! After all these years and live to drive that baby again! I couldn’t wait for you to get this video uploaded for us followers. Made me smile this morning😀Good job bringing that baby back to life 👍David
I second that, Dave! I was thinking the same thing as James was chasing him with the camera rolling. I think he grabbed a gear or two. Which is what I was hoping for!
wow that was the first cabover i ever rode when i was 5 years old . turned me into a cabover banana I've had only Kenworth and still run them an 88 k100 and a 86 k100 aerodyne .love cabovers . that old girl sounds better than new ones thanks for sharing .keep on truckin
That is so cool to see that old piece of trucking history come back to life and drive !!!!!! I Love it !!! Cant wait to see you having it back on the road . I know JP was happy . Thank you James for bringing history back
It... is... alive! Positive ground used to be a relatively popular thing. It was thought to reduce metal corrosion/rust, but it did not make a difference. These days, positive ground is not popular and is a bit of a pain to deal with. Old, dead trucks emerging from their burial grounds under their own power. Does this make this the Day of the Living Dead, Truck Edition? 😉
Hell, she's about ready to go to work! Going to be a beauty when you get done shaking off the loose stuff and plugging the holes. Oh! And helping the wasps move out! I'm partial to that conventional White (that's not for sale) you just got running for the owner. Including the graphics! And the double sleeper is so uniquely different than any other rigg out there that I've seen.
@@JamesPretty Hopefully she will. Maybe you’ll be able to figure that cab out and make it work. Be neat to see one that still just picks up on the springs.
That’s awesome James that would make you a happy man see it drive out like that very clean to no blue smoke 💨 of much JP be in his glory be making him a happy man helping you out getting to drive some of these old trucks that have been sitting around for years Thumbs up mate 👍💯
👍 Nice James. For a 50+ year old truck, Whitney shure sounds good. Hope you can get her home soon. Clean her up inside and out, then take your time with her. You're making progress James even when it comes with some pain here and there. You can do it!
James get some earplugs man! That impact wrench will mess up your hearing for sure! I always wear ear plugs when using mine. I have some hearing damage so I'm trying to keep what I have. Walmart is the place to get oil apparently. I get mine there too and run Rotella T6 in my truck and motorcycle. The only problem with Rotella is that when they put it on the shelf, it sells out quickly. So, whenever I'm in Walmart, I pick up a jug or two whether I currently need it or not.
Dang man this is sweet! another one saved. Ain't many. Next you'll need a Diamond Reo Or a Henderson !!! King of Oddball! It's nice to see the Ford CLTs Gaining popularity as well, but with it comes increase in price. Tough to find one in "Decent" Shape for under 9k now. I know of one up in Indiana 290 Small cam, 9spd, single screw sleeper. Really good price. I need to grab it up.
A cool old truck this one. Sweet! Ever think of heading down to that junkyard in Florida Bruce Wilson listed on his age where the 73 White Freightliner with the 8v92 is? Guy was selling it off for scrap price. Also had an old Bullnose back in the bushes... same deal. Bruce has no idea about old things being cool to be honest. Crimminy this old girl popped right off with that battery eh? Just wild. Nice!
Congrats on getting it to run and drive. Hope that you will be able to restore it and sell it on to someone who will use the truck for their work or business. Thanks for all your videos.
Very very awesome brother! You gotta gift for picking the good ones! Love this channel! I have been promoting the hell out of it to my friends in all my FB groups! Keep it up man!
Cool looks like both of you had a good time . I know most people don't care for the Daytons I think they are cool and defiantly gives it that old school look . That road commander looks pretty sweet also .
This is gonna be great. Glad you got Whitney and 11 out. I like that cream colored white conventional I saw on the way out. You should do a walk around tour of the place next time you go I see a lot of cool stuff. Maybe could even buy a couple old trailers if there in good shape from him
Good job James it's always good to see one moving on his own I can't wait to see what you going to do with that one too as always a good video good content and I'm waiting on the next one
Good job James she goes good, thats 4 out of J Ps looks like you could get your trucking fix from J,Ps for a while yet in his graveyard of trucks. Regards

Holy shit look at the old girl move out she sounds good kinda fast too..I wanna hear the airhorn next and is that a roof mounted air conditioner I see?
Take this to heart....Spoke hubs are to be treated like a wife, be gentle, the more you fight them the harder they react. When removing the wedges always leave the nuts on and then tap the wedges and they'll "pop" off. That Cummins looks pretty much unchanged for the truck era,
HEY JAMES do you have a E -MAIL I wanted to send you this video of that Ford aeromax when it was new vs the freightliner 120 vs the kenworth t-600 its a really cool old video comparing the 3 trucks

It is gorgeous for sure
You didn't stand a chance! JP was up and into that driver's seat like a ferret up a drainpipe. Brilliant result.
