Amazing performance by the rookies. They managed to beat the odds despite the stiff competition breathing down their neck. Really hope to see them both again on TV. Congrats To Richie on his win. :)
Charlie Brown needed to nudge left and catch more oil in the final. His ball was burning up and didn’t have the energy to turn the corner. Having bowled against him a couple times, he has the skill and the power to hook it, I think the TV lights just kinda blinded him a bit in the end, and he just got too comfortable playing where he was. The kid has so much talent. I was rooting hard for him
Man I hate TH-cam comments on any bowling matches. As with any competition, it's just a bunch of people complaining about everything, or how they hate certain players. Or people absolutely praising bowlers when they clearly had a bad game. And let's not forget the ones who just can't accept the changes of the sport of bowling because it's not how it was way back when, where they may have been a bit more relative in the game. Congrats to all four for making it here. They played well. Some not as well as they needed or are capable of. It's was an entertaining match. I'm glad I was able to watch it.

As I see it, Daugherty, Brown and Kent all have a better game than Teece, when all of them bowl well. Funny when people talk about Kent choking, what about Brown then? Throwing 3 times in a row poor shots on the right lane in the championship match, what on earth was going through his head? Congrats to Teece, he was solid and mentally strong, deserved the win this time. The thing I take away from this and the previous telecast (Chameleon) is that a winner must be mentally the strongest and/or solid, and that has so far been the case in both the Chameleon and Shark Championship on WSOB.

In my opinion it doesn’t make sense to keep the name Shark with this newer version of the Shark pattern. Under the old version players were forced to play deep inside, hence the name Shark. It seemed to me like players were attacking this pattern similar to the Cheetah pattern.

Why did they get rid of the OOB on the Shark pattern? It used to have a heavy strip of oil gutter to 6.

Takayuki Suzuki watch qualifying..they had hook to the right and oil in the middle. Which is why scores were crazy.

I've bowled against Tom Daugherty, at Oakfield Lanes, in Brandon Florida, during the men's league. He missed 3 10 pins in a row that set. He finally made one, and the place erupted 😂
How do I approve my bowling game having trouble lying up an alliance part can you please help me get in there Vice I really appreciate it I know that you guys have for National bowlers I need some bars please I tried two different lines I can't get proof I need to put my score thank you for your sports on TV I like watching

Looked like to me brown could a shoulda but didn't . He was wondering why it wasn't hooking because he was throwing 5-6board until the end he was throwing 2-3 that's why not enough rev when he hit the 2-3boards. Tough break i still liked Brown better

Did randy peterson just give advice on fundamentals to the guy that had been bowling 50 years asking how to not leave pocket 7-10's? (About 25 minutes in between matches)
Don't get me wrong, he is right his approach would be more ideal if it were smoother... But I wish I were a fly on the wall when dude watched himself on tv then get to see the disappointment on his face when he heard randy's answer.. a better answer would be "you are coming in behind the head pin", or try to get the ball higher flush even"...
Except, that wasn't Dave's question. Dave asks about timing, which Randy specifically addressees in his answer. Plus, Randy only has about 10 seconds to spit out an answer that could be helpful for most viewers. While I always thought those tip segments were a bit throwaway to burn some time between games, this one is above average in quality, imo.

jfisher4 correct I should have said both companies Brunswick owns DV8 they make a great product in my opinion lot of hook if that is what you are looking for... only thing I don’t like is the balls are made in Mexico but I am sure all companies import from other countries

What do you all think about all the coaching that happens for the pro's. I don't think they should be coached during the match. Your a pro you should be able to figure things out on your own.
Well all sports have coaches coach them during their matches. The reason the coaches are there is to observe and tell them what they need to do. A lot of the time players are too concentrated on other things to focus on stuff they may be lacking in. You can’t really focus on what your going to do wrong, which is where coaches come in
That'd be like saying to an NBA player "you shouldn't be coached during the finals. You're a pro, you should be able to figure this out on your own"
