It doesn't matter where you mount your GoPro. If you're not ripping like JWalk, the footage will never look the same... speaking from experience 😂

personaly i think the position you have on it now is a bit too low because the handlebar gets really up close and personal with the camera but it still looks good

@@PsychoticCore hmmm not sure. I just picked up an Atlas Air but haven't had the chance to ride since. Had some minor surgery so won't be riding for a week or so but can let you know once I do.
Doesnt matter where u mount it, the way u rip is what makes the videos look good👍

Ps: I'm on a long journey to be able to walk again and seeing your videos makes me want to train harder than that Honda hit on top end so I can ride again.

Been looking around for a mount for my helmet (cruiser riding though, not stunt riding). I think this is by far the best I have seen. Because of the type of riding you did, the angle changed a lot, but I imagine if you kept steady as if you were cruising, the view would have been just like the other mounts which are in the same position. I’ll get me one of these.

That’s awesome man I’m pretty sure I told you about the dango design mount back when you did your other video. I been issuing it for a while even on the road corse at well over 160 mph and thing is rock solid never had any issues with it. And I use the same angle as you I flip it up side down. Now that I think about it the only issue I had with it it the little nut were the go pro bolt hooks up to came out on mine but as long as I don’t loose it and can always put it back and tighten it side from that solid product. Grate videos man keep it up. 💪👍 and good luck at the Pro Nationals.

question. if I put it in the up position can it be tilted back enough to see the trail ahead? it seems like most people just end up recording their front fender and Im wondering if its because of the design. I want everyone to be able to see the whole trail ahead but it seems like the dango mount gets in the way of it tilting back far enough. whats the deal?

Jeff there’s a track not to far from where u are called gopher dunes... it’s a pro national track in the Canadian series and it’s the toughest roughest sand track in Canada. It’s my favourite track to ride at and for your training it would be ideal. It is even challenging for all the pros even on a regular practice day.
i know i should probably know this by now. but which class are you racing in for the nationals, coz i heard you say 250, but if im not mistaken. thats a 450? so are you racing 450 for the nationals?

Pro shot mount is also a good option. Can also be used up side down.
Jeff I have done a similar edit on my channel with a 2stroke, what view mode do you run the gopro in buddy, I had mine on super view.

Have had and promoted all my #DangoDesigns mounts for years! Highly recommend to anyone with a GoPro and it works for so much more than helmets. Can clip to side by side roll cages, doors, roof, dash, dirtbike bars, fenders list goes on. Backpacks facing rearwards and it grips really good and strong have never lost one yet.
Maybe its just me, or the new tracks you've been riding, but you seem way faster on the new bike then you ever did on the honda.

Most gopros will correct for this
Ussually go pros correct it, if not, theres a setting on older go pros mabey even new ones that records upside down video.

When you do the pro nationals tell them to give you another one to mount on the rear fender. That would be a slick video! One one the mouth piece one on the rear fender! 💪🏻
I found the dango didn't hold at all. Went with the jb weld on the mouth piece. Works sick cheers

I bought a dango design mount after researching a way to get the angles you run back at the start of your channel. I saw a vid that Kevin Horgmo motocross posted with one and ordered one the next day.

I think the mount is a little too low... the go pro is going back and forth focusing on the dirt and the bars. So if it’s farther from the bars the track will seem more clear

I just lost my Hero 7 black and this mount in a crash at an Enduro race on 5/4. It wasn't that bad of a crash...I didn't know it came off until about 20 mi later....no way to go back and get it without doing the whole 76mi loop again (after I finished it). Was so bummed...only got to use the GoPro 3x and it's gone...with the mount. Ugh...

I've had this mount for about a year. I like it, but it did break on the first use. It broke on the piece that connects to the GoPro. It still works just fine, but it is a little annoying to deal with.

The only hang up with the dango is if you wear a neck brace. Other than that their great.
