I'm not asking for your custom content, I just want to know how to change the whistle sound on a K&L Trainz model because I'm trying to change my locomotives whistles. 1st comment
It's kinda hard to explain in writing but you need to change the "KUID" inside of the config file - open the asset for editing and replace the whistle "KUID" with the one you want - it would be under hornsound. Then go down to the KUID index and delete the old whistle KUID. I recommend watching a video if you have any more trouble.
on the engine's config file theres a bunch of text, one of the first things that appear is 'hornsound', next to it theres a KUID which is the engine's whistle/horn. paste the kuid of the whistle you want replacing the old one and then save changes
