H, does fine akadama work better for rooting ? Do you immediately pot the pups and seal in plastic bag after removing them from the Mother plant? No need to use rooting gel ?

yes pot and seal right away.. for this experiment i didn’t use any rooting hormone.. u can use rooting gel for fast root growth..

The soilcouldn’t dry up in the plastic bag. So why didn’t they rot?

no root rot as the pups doesn’t have roots yet.. reason we seal is to keep the humidity high to induce roots and the pups won’t get dry and shrivel

How do the pups not root being in such high humidity? I have some variegated Gymno to root and am concerned about seal the bag.

heat + humidity will help the pups to root.. using the bag is optional but this works for me as i’m using a non organic media called “Profile Porous Ceramic” or PPC.. u can also root your gymno pups without covering them
