So often my shoulders itch after i get out of the shower, so i know its due to dry skin. But that's the only part i don't get dry skin/itching on other parts.

It's got one side that's a rougher foot file, like a little cheese grater, and then a fine file for finishing. You use it on the dried out, thickened parts (there are also foot files for use on wet skin). Anyway: pedi egg works wonders if you've got thick, dead skin on your feet. Male, female, whoever you are... if you spend a lot of time on your feet, treat 'em well.
We had a wide receiver in high school everyone nicknamed chimney. I thought it was because he smoked corners and he was really tall. So during games whenever he made a play, I'd run up shouting "CHIMNEY!" Thankfully my black friends sat me down and explained what ashy meant before too long.

You see, white people historically come from regions with colder climates, and hence, naturally have a layer of oil on our skin and hair to help retain body heat. That's why white people generally don't use as much lotion, and also why we have soft, wavy hair, and don't get cold as easily. Black people, on the other hand, come from hotter, drier climates, and evolved without the need for that natural layer of oil. Hence, black people have naturally dry skin, and coarse, "nappy" hair, because they need to release body heat. That's why black people generally get cold quicker, in temperatures that are more tolerable for white people, and also why they require lotion on a daily basis.

As a white guy from western Australia, I have to use lotion, my skin drys up easy as fuck. Most likely from the atmosphere of the weather could be wrong though, Dry and hot as fuck summers and always windy rainy seasons in the winter. I work with bentonite and that drys you out I always got a few bottles handy
In the winter the air is very dry, very low humidity, so you have dry itchy skin if you don't lotion up.
