@@ericporter2373 Very...especially on the premium courses. In fact I had to beef up my computer in order to run Apex vs what is required for GSPRO as my processor was not able to keep up with Apex's demands. The quality of courses is very very good graphically. Don't get me wrong, both are fantastic but Apex is a really good competitor graphically to GSPRO.
It's good to see a comprehensive review of E6 Apex. I have E6 Apex and it's very good. I'm surprised there are so few reviews considering the quality of the courses which are a huge improvement over E6 Connect. The pricing including Premium courses is also much better than E6 Connect. Hopefully it will keep improving, including on demand courses outside of North America.
@@kennyb8718 I agree. There is a lot to unpack with E6 Apex and I think it is going to continue to grow in popularity, moving forward. As with anything, I think the more options that people have the better as well. That keeps people on their toes and continuing to strive to make products better.
Very comparable but not quite as polished yet. I believe it has great potential for the future as well. It is not currently working with Uneekor but will have integration in the next couple months most likely.
No wonder there was a delay in the full Apex review…almost 45 minutes…we thank you! OK everyone, as someone who downloaded the program and tried it, you better have AT LEAST what Apex lists in computer requirements. My computer will run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 but won’t run this program. Apex support was very helpful on the refund and emailed the “recommended” hardware which was another leap above the minimum. I got literally 3 frames per second on that demo hole Roland showed at the end. That’s nuts… A new computer at one of those discount computer stores around here will run $1,200 so…
Lol. Time is not a luxury I unfortunately have anymore which is why some TH-cam videos are being delayed. Even with that I had already done another video with a bunch of other features so this thing is jam packed. Also I do this full time now assisting clients as a reseller and I am often up until 3am or later just trying to catch up. I need to hire soon. No lie on the computer specs. It is very demanding!
There is no course list unfortunately. I have E6 Apex however, and can confirm there are currently no on demand courses outside of North America. It is intended to eventually have most courses worldwide so hopefully more will come soon including Europe/Asia.
One thing TruGolf does very very well is being set up for Commercial applications. I've used the Apogee with about 2-3 Commercial applications now and they have loved the setup. Reach out anytime to me at Roland@MyGarageGolf.com when you are ready and I'll be happy to walk you through any questions.
I notice you seem to have the same robotic framerate issues during shots that I’m having. I reached out to support and they said that the software is currently locked/capped at 30fps. Do you have any more info on this or when the software will be more optimized? Graphics are great, but it’s a hard sell when the golf itself can’t be 60fps smooth
Thanks for the review. I was a little let down to be honest from the on demand course graphics. maybe it looks better while you're playing though. Seems like they're a long way off from doing what they said and having 35k courses available. Id want to get this to play all my locals but who knows if they're even on there yet as there is no course list available that I can find?
I will reach out to them and see if they have a course list in the works in the future. I think they want to roll out the courses with as little bugs as possible but we will see how the future looks for them as well. The tech is pretty cool and the courses will improve as time progresses from what I've learned.
@@GarageGolf Thanks man. How would you say the on demand courses compare to the e6 connect courses? Do they look better than those at least? I have a Uneekor QED so I can't buy it yet anyway but I am trying to get as much info as possible and your review is the only one out there so far.
@@jwheels9876 I think they are around or better than E6 Courses, depending on which ones we are talking about. Some have always been better than others for sure. I'm impressed with Apex ad think you would like it overall. Honest input, no bs. It is a good program. Not quite as polished as GSPRO yet but I think it has potential.
@@GarageGolf Cool thanks for the info. I haven't renewed my GSPRO this winter because I was waiting on APEX to drop. Most likely I will end up with it either way but hopefully you can get some info on a course list. I'm in Rhode Island and there aren't really a ton of courses here so I play all the publics in the state and it would be cool to play them any time I want
@@hysellplay Official unofficial answer is just that they are in the pipeline but were one of the last to request access so just going in order in regards to how that it rolled out I'm assuming.
@@chrissmith9422 I think it is more in the order of when it was requested access from the launch monitor company vs when the actual launch monitor itself is released.
Nobody in their right mind would buy those expensive packages over GS Pro. The Graphics are not better either so why should I pay more? It doesn't make sense at all ....
Depends on the situation. For example below. GSPRO = $250.00 If you have a Uneekor Device you have to add the Pro Package to that min at $199.00 Total+ $499.00 Apex on Apogee= $450.00 yr. Seems pretty comparable to me. I'm a big fan of GSPRO too obviously but there are situations where this is very comparable both in price and features to GSPRO if we're being honest and fair to both sides.

More unoptimized than your computers fault.

Unfortunately no. Apex needs a very high quality gaming PC to run this software.
