Celtic Frost - Monotheist is a shout for the final album being the best

Woaah, I'm a big Witchfinder General fan, but I had no clue they had a third album😂

I thought of a few albums after lol. Slayer-Repentless. Other then the title track, and Pride and Prejudice this album is a bore. 5/10 complete generic mediocrity and Slayer's worst album. Mercyful Fate- 9. Only slightly better then Dead Again, I honestly don't care for the last 2 albums without Denner at all. Nuclear Assault-Third World Genocide. Should have left well enough alone, still even with it's muddy production I'd rather listen to this then the over produced, bloated albums that Testament and Exodus are releasing now.

I absolutely agree with all of what you just said. Repentless is just a flat nothing, wasting Bostaph and Holt as well. I really like Piano Wire from that album, it feels like Seasons. The rest is just nothing.
I have 9 on vinyl, but I've listened to it like twice, it feels really forced to me. I think after Mercyful Fate's first breakup, they were never nearly as strong (of Don't Break is such a masterpiece that its impossible to top), and King was just way better on his own.
Honestly, I think Exodus have never been a good band. First album, absolute classic, but the rest is just the most generic thrash. The new albums especially suck now because most bands are at Nuclear Blast, the worst company ever. Everything they touch just turns into overproduced, long-ass garbage. With that being said, I do like Titans of Creation, it has some of my fav testament songs, its just waaay to long. (Why the fuck do you have to put 12 songs on that shit if 4 of them are absolute fillers, instead of writing 6 actually decent songs). Also Kreator is just beyond bad now, its just sad. At least Exodus are good live

@@markkatai7430 I love 80s Exodus and Testament, even their return albums Tempo of the Damned and Formation of Damnation were excellent. The issue with me is that they refuse to do anything different. Exodus has been making the same album for almost 40s years, and who needs a 74 minute Exodus album? Same with Testament. Same stuff over and over. At least in the 90s Testament did some different stuff with Demonic, which is a favorite. The thing is both bands are excellent musicians, and you know they have a huge back ground of influences. I just think they keep making the same shit over and over because it's what the thrash kids want. People can hate on Anthrax and Metallica, but Metallica has never made the same record twice, sometimes they fail but you'll always get something different. Anthrax switches it up a lot and their records have a lot of different styles of songs...that's what I like. I really enjoyed For All Kings, but I rarely listen to it because it's too lenghty. Death Angel pushed the boundaries when they started but the last 4 albums have pretty much just been more of the same. I love 80s thrash, but I have a hard time with 2000s thrash from these old bands. The albums have become too long, over produced, and they never top what they did in the 80s. For some reason I'm still a sucker for Sodom though. Love them to death. I still like Kreator but if they never released another album, that's okay. Mille said before the last album that with each album it becomes harder for him to write songs. Probably because there comes a point when you run out of ideas and riffs. I give credit though, I'd struggle to think of 15 albums worth of things to write about.

Great video idea. Honestly I don't believe I have ever listened any of these albums. I will make a response because I have a couple bands that released albums that just collect dust on my shelf. haha

Im an Entombed/Entombed A.D. fan. I personally enjoy all their albums, some just more then others. I personally enjoyed the last album. I have no issues with the production. I prefer it over all the over priduced protools metal thats being churned out now. I would put Coroner-Grin. I like it fine, just no where near as much as their earlier stuff. The last Excel album. The last Twisted Sister album Love Is For Suckers. Bad Brains- everything after God of Love. Even that album isnt great. The last Circle Jerks album. Sounds like safe punk and lacedge.

I agree the production is not a problem, much better that the one in Inferno, but as a huge fan of them I think some songs are not that great to say the least.

Yeah those albums are not great. Good picks but about Entombed the last album I care about them is Wolverine Blues and then after that they went to shit in my opinion.

I listen to Witchfinder quite a bit. But I also didn't know they ever released a third album. And honestly, it's not that bad. Definitely better than Time Bomb I think.
