Yes this beautiful saz was made by Ragip Osta. he offered him to Talip Hoca end of sixties. Due to his very strong technique,the original face was ruined in middle of eighties and I remember that he brought it back to Ragip himself who changed it.The first one had a rosette in the middle as you can see in very old pictures of Talip.

I am an optical engineer and doctor in quantic optics. After my doctorate I quit meydan of research on physics and opened an optical shop in center of Paris.I met Talip in 1978 in a little Persian restaurant called Golestan de Perse.I started learning Turk music from him.later we started to learn Turk sanat music . He started playing tanbur and we played ud. He was a marvelous teacher.
