While all of us want a price deal, this thing is more resilient than I first thought. I bought mine at a "COVID" price point of $89.95 at Walmart like many others. Since I was trained in electronics in the military, I decided to open mine up to see how it's constructed. This thing is worth $200. Factory mass-production is your friend here, driving price down. Even $89.95 is a bargain. The heating element should technically last ten years even under heavy use, 24/7. The vacuum pump, at least 2 years if operating 24/7 (pumps have mechanical parts) Circuit boards and wire soldering are quite good. Power supply... slightly weak in quality. Better components with better tolerances could have been used. Should still last 2 years operating 24/7 Heating element system would outlast other components, beyond 2 years. Other components will fail before heating element. Considering most folks will use this a maximum of 6 hours a month max, this unit should last most people around 8 years, give or take. Which comes to $11.25 per year of ownership at a $90 price point. Get one!!
I received on of these for Christmas and I love it. I have sealed my entire freezer and i am amazed at the amount of room I now have after taking out all of the zipper bags I had in there.
I just bought this last week . 11-2023 . I read the directions, but still couldn't get it to work . I came on TH-cam and watched a husband and wife demonstrate what to do . I was ready to take it back to the store ! ☹️ lol I finally got it working and I love it !!! 👏👏👏👏👏 I will only be using it about every 3 months or so because it only me . I enjoyed your video also . ❤️😇🙏
Just got this one! I went from cooking for a large family to cooking for one. This machine is so easy to use and paid for itself the first time I used it. Can now buy in bulk and save!
Listened for 2.5 minutes in the video. Learned how to open the box, remove the paper and plug the unit in. The part I needed to see was in triple speed, so I didn’t get the unit going at all. Nice music
Thanks for doing all the reading for me. 👍. Been procrastinating for two days on reading the instructions. Now I can go convert my gasoline generator to propane with the time you saved me. 😁
I bought this same exact thing and i couldnt figure out why it wouldnt suck the air out, could only get it to seal cuz the instuctions dont even tell you to tuck it down in that little dip before trying to seal it, so thank you so much for making this video. I almost returned it thinking it didnt work
@Jose Santana oh I'm a professional at it now. Lol you just gotta keep trying. Get it to an even cut straght line, then make sure it's not too full an the bags big enough for what you're sealing, and then MAKE SURRE you tuck the top part of the bag INTO the little dip inside the vac sealer, make sure it stays there in place, and then lock in down, an just click vaccum seal, then once it's about fully sealed, click on SEAL. An it should work !! Let me know if I helped at all!
I just received mine and can’t even figure out how to turn it on!? lol I plugged it in and don’t see a power button and it doesn’t start up or light up once plugged in. Suggestions?
I have this one but mine don't seal tight like yours did! I've watched your video and doing exactly what I see but it's not vacuuming tight like yours!🤦🏾♀️ Help
the previous one I had, I stored the roll of bags in the machine and it had a cutter. This one doesn't, so I don't care for it. How do they want you to cut the bags?
I just got mine from Walmart last week, replacing an an older, larger model V2440 . I like to keep my sealer out and n the counter because I use it often and I wanted a smaller machine. However, The hose provided for vacuuming containers does not fit snugly into the machine port. I actually have to hold it there so it doesn't slip off. Is that normal? I also haven't been able to successfully to seal a container so I thinking the port doesn't work.
I'm sorry that I am just now seeing this. I have used it a good bit since this video was made. I recently vac sealed about 100 bags of jerky in a couple of days and it performed great!
given the fact that dried bananas will have so much air space around them, I'm sure that it will seem like a better vacuum on them. But you should still get a good vacuum on the meat.
I wish you would have opened the roll of plastic and demo'd it. Not sure how that works and if I can use that for a while or if I should order some quart bags with the machine. Anyone?
Hey! Sorry about that. I will say that the rolls are awesome! I have purchased some additional rolls since and I’m they work perfectly! Just roll out however length you need and cut. Use the machine to “only seal” one end of the piece you cut. Now you have a bag. Put your food in it and then “vac and seal”. That’s it! Rolls work perfect for me! I haven’t used any Pre made bags! Thanks for watching!
Do you have a food vacuum sealer? If so, what do you use yours for most?

You seem like someone I should know

I just purchase one today and I haven't used it yet but I can't wait to use it.
Thanks for doing all the reading for me. 👍. Been procrastinating for two days on reading the instructions. Now I can go convert my gasoline generator to propane with the time you saved me. 😁
Thank you for saving me from reading the instructions! My how prices have changed. Bought mine this week at Walmart$89.99
Bought this yesterday at Wallie World on sale for $40
On Amazon for roughly $110.
Bruh
$53 for me 😭
I got mine 4 days after this video but I'm just now figuring out how to work it. Love it so far.
There are so many uses for it!
Why my vacuum sealer won't turn to operate?

I haven’t been able to figure how the vacuum works

Thank you have one but no book on how to use. Want to try on green beans
I have the same one. I am trying to figure out how to vacuum seal jars. Can you help?
Got this as a Christmas gift. And I’ve followed instructions, and it’s not vacuuming air tight😫.
The vacuum sealer looks pretty cool!
Yeah, I think it will be very useful!
I have this one but mine don't seal tight like yours did! I've watched your video and doing exactly what I see but it's not vacuuming tight like yours!🤦🏾♀️ Help
Thanks for making the video - it helped me out. As another user has pointed out, I suggest turning down the music level a tad. Thanks again
Just picked one of these up today . Main reason I got it is so I can conserve space in the freezer
Great use for it!!!
I would love one of these!!
Ordered one today!
Thank you!!! Lol I needed this video 4 hours agoooo
HA! My mom had one in the '70s... we bought it for her for Christmas.
lol, I hope to put this one to good use! :)
I have a SaveSealer but I am thinking heavily on FoodSaver. I use it to store meat.
the previous one I had, I stored the roll of bags in the machine and it had a cutter. This one doesn't, so I don't care for it. How do they want you to cut the bags?
That sounds like a handy feature. This one works great, but we just cut the bag with a pair of scissors.
Scissors! What a novel idea!
Bettie Dawson scissors ....
Keep up the great work uncle jay!
Thanks!
Do a Video without the music. IT’s overbearing.
Have you used this model to store soups in bags?
I have not. I do know that you can hook a hose to it and I believe you are able to. I have just never tried it.
Appreciate the demo. You might consider making the videos without the hyper music in the background. It’s very distracting.
How do you use the reusable bag attachments
Just bought mine today. It will not pull a vacuum and I used one of the bags they included. Frustrating.

I've never tried sealing a container, however the hose did fit in the port perfectly on mine. You might have a defective unit.
I just got one. This was super helpful tha!
Thanks!
Glad I could help!
Yes I have one just like that I love it
Great! Ours works wonderfully!
Thinking about getting this as a gift on Black Friday . I see quite a few reviews saying it didnt work for long/ broke quickly. How has yours held up?
I'm sorry that I am just now seeing this. I have used it a good bit since this video was made. I recently vac sealed about 100 bags of jerky in a couple of days and it performed great!
I just got mine. But when doing raw meats it doesn’t vacuum suck out alot compared to dehydrated bananas
given the fact that dried bananas will have so much air space around them, I'm sure that it will seem like a better vacuum on them. But you should still get a good vacuum on the meat.
I just got one to put fresh bait in for catfishing. And of course food at the house including catfish. Lol. Did I say catfish.
Idk y mines won’t turn on when I plugged it in!
I wish you would have opened the roll of plastic and demo'd it. Not sure how that works and if I can use that for a while or if I should order some quart bags with the machine. Anyone?

@@malonecustomdesigns Yes ☹ I ended up exchanging it yesterday because I just couldn't figure out the problem 😂
Did you find the solution
Just got one from Amazon. Cost me $68. Thanks for showing me what to do. Gonna deal some steaks now!! 🥩

Need to put your channel on the owners manual .. lol
The music is distracting to hearing the review.
is this background noise fro what????? this is not music and this video not about noise that you use as background.
No matter what I did, there was no power. I wasted an hour I will never get back.
the same as yours
Not 59 anymore 😫
Oh wow...yeah, the price jumped up a good amount! :(
That food saver is useless try it rn
Turn music OFF
The music in your videos is EXCESSIVE!!!
