Increasing rate untill the OVEPRICED houses turn to normal which mean many people lost jobs. Otherwise the government should stop coporate to own single family home to save citizen.

Our government serves the corporate, not the citizen. That will never happen.

The credit market(s) and NOT the Fed should be setting interest rates... We problems we are currently experiencing are in large part because the Fed held interest rates artificially low for years. The Fed should take their "thumb" off of the scale. We would all be better off in the long run...

Its all starting to fall apart starting with commercial and finance. Jobs numbers are not reflective of reality. Every Realtor, lender, appraiser, home inspector, and builder have been feeling it for over a year. Many in these jobs work multiple jobs. The largest number of any industry filing for Unemployment in August in Oregon was construction. National builders are cutting prices and offering huge financing benefits through their own private lenders. Multifamily builders are overbuilt and underfunded. We are going into a recession, there is no question about it. How bad it gets is the unoniwn, but the data few are talking about looks very bad as the talking heads say "Its not going to be like 2008". 2024/2025 says "Let me show you what you dont know about."

Sorry, none of these talking heads really know anything about the future. They are wrong as often as they are right.

The market crash along with tens of millions of job losses and prolonged economic depression will force the Fed to cut rates sooner than expected.
