I’m watching this at 12 AM trying not to sleep but this just makes it harder because it legit sounds like a lullaby i would replay to the death like wth
One of my favorite things (along with the amazing tuning) about this is the Vocaloids’ facial expressions. They all kind of picture the fans’ personalities for them, and how each would react under sadness or stress. VFlower looks like she’s trying hard to be serious, and stoic, but she feels upset inside and is trying to hold it in. Oliver looks like he’s openly expressing that he’s sad and upset, which makes sense because he’s canonically a young kid. Len and Piko look sad as well, but in a worried, nearly confused way. Fukase is one of my favorites in terms of emotion, he looks like he’s depressed to the point of near insanity, like he’s lost all care for anything around him, and like his sense of self-preservation and sanity has drastically increased to near nothing.

Isnt it weird... Like how Rolling girl is sung quickly, but in this the meme squad is singing it slowly, to go along with the soft melody of the music box. Them being vocaloids and all, it makes their voices sound, I guess sort of stuttery, singing so slow. But that's what gives it emotion in my opinion, In the original sung by miku, you could hear the anger in her voice. This cover, they went slower, when making a song, or art, or creating anything, you need to first understand 'mood' in making the person who reviews it feel some sort of way. For example when drawing, if you wished to make the drawing feel sad, you'd likely add blue, or gloomy pallets and shading to the art peice. But this is sound, so what would make sound have a feel to it? In the original, Miku sang fast, and strongly, nearly screaming in some parts of the song. Giving the feel of 'anger' and 'letting out frustration.' this cover is slower, and softer, giving the 'sad' feel. Isnt it amazing how changing a song by its speed and strength can change the feel to it completely?
