    This brings back major memories as I am a former Greyhound bus driver who used to run the route from Pittsburgh to Greensburg, Latrobe, Johnstown, Altoona, Tyrone, State College and Harrisburg. We started out across from Amtrak in downtown Pittsburgh and trailed this line most of the way to Harrisburg. Matter of fact, Johnstown, Tyrone, Altoona and Harrisburg stops were actually at Amtrak on this line. Just seeing the scenery sparked my memory. I ran that route from 2015 through late 2017 and always loved seeing them catch up with me or me to them by Altoona.

    NS60N a load of new post arc gondolas AC 😁😁 and the second train had some of my fave hoppers as well 😁😁 like this video coz they are running hot nothing like a heavy train going hard. An intermodal flying is an awesome sight to behold for me anyway

    I used to take the train to Lewistown to get the Fullington Bus to Penn State University. That bus was always filled with College Kids and took about an hour from Lewistown Station up to State College.

    Très belle prise de vue avec des annotations fort utiles pour les non anglophones et les non initiés aux habitudes des chemins de fer étatsuniens. Merci. Thks

    Totally awesome! I live in Duncannon very close to Cove. I am quite familiar with most of the places in this video (minus Scranton). I have seen Standard Steel up close before, but I never managed to catch any rail action there.

    And the hits just keep on coming!! That 60N I believe is a slab train coming out of Camden correct. Both Camden and Morrisville are close to me. Once again well done!

    • @Trains21
      @Trains21  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is correct.. Wow! You're an early bird aren't you.. lol.. Yes, these are loaded slabs to western Pa.. Are you on the PA side or the Jersey side?... And thanks again for the kind words.

    • @jayodonnell9838

    Glad you showed the signal change to red. Since when do PRR signals have colors? Does the middle lamp change to red to match the two horizontal red lamps, yellow to match the 45-degree yellow lamps and green to match the vertical green lamps *( : )* Alwayshow a train entering a grade crossing in case someone gets hit.

    #6735 belongs to standard steel. Juniata valley railroad does service them but doesn't use remote control

      There's actually two.. The first is found on Bensound.com, the second is "The 126ers - Wish you'd come true" and can be found by searching You Tube.

      I've heard bad things about them too, but they've been remodeled and a video I saw showed them to be quite nice.

    WHY IS WINCHESTER& WESTERN THERE??

    • @Trains21
      @Trains21  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably for maintenance.. Small railroads often can't do big mechanical jobs.. That would be my guess..

  • @fredlohmann1448

    446 IS NOT A SW1500!
