If you shoot in daylight and not a high contrast scene, and also not at night, i don't see the point of using Gcam. Nor in the video mode.
    Otherwise, use Gcam.
Gcam tends to smooth out the colours, reserve the shadows and push back the highlights everywhere which make the dynamic range incredibly narrow and painting-like pictures.
Just my 2 cents from using mi 8, poco F1 and note 6 pro

Cool comparison, nonetheless it would be interesting to show the EXIF info of all the shots to try to nail if the picture quality could be improved in the stock camera app by using the manual mode, as it was shown in your review video that in this phone all the dialers are unlocked into the stock camera app (ISO, shutter speed and white balance). It would be also great to explicitly state if the images where taken with HDR and AI modes on or off and also add a third image showing if those settings do indeed increase the picture quality. Finally it must be mandatory to indicate the specific OS version installed on the phone at the time of recording the video, as generally software updates tend to make an impact on the overall usability of the stock camera. Best regards!

The audio quality of Redmi note 7 compared to Redmi note 5 convinced me not to buy this RN7. Thanks for the previous videos

Wow the GCAM is much better, it captures much detailed photos.
Stock tends to oversaturate photos and thus degrading photos

The thing with g cam is it may look better in side by side comparison because it adjusts exposer better sometimes lil underexposed picture to capture more details better contrast to make it look clean and sometimes better colour, but if u check overall picture size it's clearly says pictures are captured in lower size thus they're not as high quality as stock camera captures. I don't know i haven't tried it after enabling camera 2 api I'm just a normal user that doesn't root his device for now and whatever camera app i use this is the issue I face even tho sometimes downloaded camera captures better picture more pleasing to the eyes but they're all low quality compared to the pictures taken by stock camera the difference be like 12 mb pic from stock and 2-5 mb pic from other camera can any genius here explain what's the reason and can it be fixed by enabling camera 2 api? And is this worth using stock camera for now?

Please make a comparison video for Google Camera on as many devices as possible. This is not even considered a mod in mobile phones that include that Camera 2 api and works wonders especially for budget mobile phones.

You should also review at night of both these camera gcam and stock with eis on including video sample with front and rear. Don't worry you will get too much views on that video.
