A small little tip for stalkers that actually want a unique shotgun. Go to Zaton by way of Cordon through Wild Territory. In Zaton, there is a unique shotgun with a considerable damage increase. People who have played Call of Pripyat likely know it's name already.
If you kill the two guys in the compound before you get on the pipes, tune the radio one time after and you’ll hear a transmission coming in saying you’re coming in from the east and back up is on the way. Thought that was really dope 😊
the best armor early game is the BREAD armor, it drops from bandits at random, my dropped at the silos bandit base close to the poppy field, i killed like 12 bandits there and it dropped, i has a lot of def/res and has 19% psy resist too is super good
@@waveboi7063 found another bugged armor on first map idk the name but the military guys dropped go to the bottom of the first zone where the military base close to the start of the game, where he entered in this video and kill everyone there and maybe it will drop there, it has better defense than the BREAD armor and is INVISIBLE when you look at it you will see nothing in the inventory but a empty item
I mean, some of the best free armor that you can get early game are the SEVA suits. SEVA-V, D, and I suits can all be grabbed right away. Hell, while you're at it, you could run and grab the Cuirass Exosuit as well, up at the SKD building in the Cooling Towers area. Won't be able to sprint in it until you upgrade it, but you can do it. Problem is getting the Koupons to repair them after they're damaged, but that's a problem for future you 😅 Another good runner-up to these if you've damaged them and can't fix them or just want to collect good armor, is the Guardian of Freedom armor, which can be found in a stash. All that said, there's plenty of armor that can be grabbed right away early game that is better than the bread armor 😆
@@DarkTranqz the invisible armor i found from the military guys has every resistance 40 to 50% and 65% for physical res is soo good and it has 2 slots for artefacts from the start without upgrades but also i cant upgrade it because is bugged
Calling a shotgun a hunting rifle is funny, but the description saying its a rifle is most likely an inside joke from the devs, in shadow of chernobyl there was a quest in the english dub version to "Retrieve my old rifle" where you find a double barrel shotgun.
My grandfather here in Australia called his shotgun his “bird rifle” when telling his stories. I’m very old (literally middle aged) and he was born in 1918 so maybe some older folks in the west called them rifles? Or at least here in Australia. Or maybe just my Grandad😁
Shotguns actually are rifles sometimes as it simply refers to a long gun with a rifles barrel. The Shot in Shotgun comes from the shell type it was invented to originally use being a big bore rifle

Nice i found all of these naturally apart from the poppy house stash in roof and the raider jacket. Found a few other things as well that aint on here. Theres an anomaly artifact and a secret sort of hide out behind it. i went in there but got freaked out from some sounds so left and for got to put a marker on my map before I ran away lol
At the end of video, where you go trough the Military Compound. You can actually fight Military NPCs and one of them drops really good full repaired Military Armor. Insane Phys protection.
This must be a random drop then, because i killed about 30-40 of those military guys(they seem to spawn endlessly at that point in the mission) and none of them dropped that armor.
@@Supreme-MooseI got the armor in question, maybe it was a random drop? But he also had. Really advanced looking gun. It was on a guard who was walking around the stairs you go down to the basement to finish the mission. Try around there!
Dude, I just want to say thank you so much for making these videos. I was about to give up playing the game even though I didn't want to because I was struggling to find good loot and learn the game mechanics. It's my first ever stalker game, but I've always wanted to play them ever since I used to watch my older brothers play the old ones. Don't know if someone posted this. But when getting the aurora gas mask in this video, proceed north where where you will see a truck, there is a backpack hidden and an ammo drum for your viper-5.
There is an 81% SVD in the swamps in the watch tower south of the old church. Technically you could leave the starting area and bee line it through the eastern check point, cordon, and the southern wild islands to go get it. It's a long hike but fans of earlier games get to explore rearranged early game zones on the way. Just maybe skip checking out the church if you don't like mutants. Walk around through the graveyard. Bonus points to anyone who tries this before seven seals using the irradiated route mentioned on the dead stalker at the eastern checkpoint; I don't know if it can be done or what the inside of the checkpoint looks like before that quest is over. Also there are a few boxes of ammo next to the rifle and you can get more from Sidorob1tch and Beard one the way back. I made the walk in a broken merc suit from cordon and random guns I picked up along the way. Just watch radiation if you're checking anomaly fields on the way, or until you snag the SP-99 Science suit from a certain railcar on the border of the swamps; could just bring a bubble with you if you grinded for one.
Just east of the vodka place there is a little covered area with 3 breakable boxes, behind them is a stash that I found a drum mag for the viper five smg
There's a decent exo-suit in the cooling towers area which isn't too far to get from the starting area. Takes aproximately 20-30 minutes to get to once you get to zalissya. if you're playing on veteran difficulty, it'll save your life. SKD Assembly Unit, climb around and you'll find it.
Just a heads up. The poppy fields quest to get the 416 works if you say "I'll find it myself". Just dont loot the bodies in the house after collecting the stash with the supressor.
I found an extended mag for the MP5 in a stash just to the east of the sign disposal (where you get the mask on the roof) There is like a vehicle storage bit just outside of the main compound. Not seen anyone mention it yet, maybe it was just random, but super helpful as you can get in in the first hour or so.

Was this recorded on the prepatched version of the game? the gravi artifact you mention at 2m45s isn't in the dead stalkers body, but there was a separate (different) artifact on the floor next to him
Anomalies and are not artifacts, anomalies are the hazardous stuff around the map that kills you if you walk into it, and artifacts are the special rocks that give you powers
What are you playing on and if PC - what settings? You seem to have pretty stable FPS. Just curious how yours compares to mine. I sit about 85fps at medium/high/epic but stuttering at times bugs me despite how small I experience it.
@ESO - What I did was I collected EVERYTHING I could in the prologue and hid it in the safe in the shed at the post office before putting the scanner on the final scan location. It didn't stow the guns but it kept EVERYTHING ELSE that I put in there.

If you get detected and kill a guard at the AR416 location, they will literally chase you all over the map. I ran a loop from the base, to the starting area, then back to the first settlement and was chased the entire way.
There are no good or bad parties in the game. You choose the side. And even after becoming an enemy with someone you can become friends again after healing or helping someone of your enemies.
were you had to get the brother in the middle of the anomaly you said to not search, I finish the quest but if you go back in and use your scanner the artifact is there to get
@@BlackOpsCTR Actually, there are four endings and nobody knows yet the decisions in the game to see every ending. So, the baseline is not really the same either.

Apparently you don't get the same artifact from the guy in the gap of the wall. I got the one that cancels out radiation damage from other artifacts 'Slime'. I wanted the Gravi... But the slime is also good..
Its funny. I created my own stalker stash by accident cause I couldnt carry all the weapons and ammo i got from a big ass compound. Even funnier a couple other stalkers showed up and used the building as a base. Theirs seven of them guarding it so its my own hideout with my own army that just spawned there. So its now my new base!
Tried a several time to steal the assault rifle in the military base, but when I flee from there and return to the village, the soldiers keep coming to the village and attack me everytime I load a save after that. Very funny haha))
Well that one location where you said you'll get a gravi artifact instead for me it was a glowing Battery Artifact that gives Endurance and rads weak also About the poppy field the energy drinks are kinda bugged they dont work or at least on the xbox i popped back 17 once every second still died my first try i popped 4 and still died so its either bugged or can get bugged to where they dont work
I've watched multiple videos that you have about where to find anomalies and not a single one of them is lining up with the game, found jellyfish in a place where it's supposed to be the fly trap or whatever for carrying weight and the dead body did not have the gravity one wasn't even in his body
I went to for sniper location but by the time I'm there Lesky is dead near the garage below with few other corpses around. There was no sniper rifle on his body or anywhere near his corpse. I guess this i missable? Btw at that point I already gave the ward to Ritcher.
Playing on the Xbox Series X I'm having a lot of trouble "parkouring". It just feels like "Skif", even with full "energy" and dropping much of what you're carrying, just can't jump high enough to reach some of those difficult rooftops and such. I spent hours trying to access the roof at the "Cowpens" and left frustrated. I find it's easier when playing on my PC.
Idk why it really irritates me when TH-camrs hop on a new game and start making mindless tutorials like this without knowing anything at all about the originals and misnaming everything and missing obvious nods to the original games it’s just ew.
I killed the army guards that you have to sneak by,they drop their armor and helmet way stronger then everything I have or find so nice take way more damage now.

@joshthewolf8330 from my experience rifled shotgun barrels are generally only for slugs, and yes there are shotgun rifle combos but they have a 3rd barrel and 2nd trigger to account for the rifle cartridge. Anything smaller than a .50 would have a hard time fitting inside the barrel because it would just fall out. If we're strictly talking about the game though then that's another thing.
The artifacts don't make you "weaker" to radiation, they irradiate you while you're wearing them.
Technically that does make you weaker the radiation
thats what i was thinking.because that's how they worked in the older games.
That stacks with environmental radiation though, so it does make you weaker to it

just use scoped guns man same thing
First stalker game had binoculars that could tell you who is friendly or not
There's also no night vision goggles.
Enemies don't spawn far enough to warrant binoculars or even a sniper rifle for now

youll get a fully repaired one with an okay skin on it from one of the main missions in the third area i believe

Found another location that you can get the SVDM-2 sniper rifle in game; it is at the plant mission 'Deal with the Devil' will send you their.

14:10 you can also loot the grenades the tripwires are connected to. There's a lot of them in that building

Apparently you don't get the same artifact from the guy in the gap of the wall. I got the one that cancels out radiation damage from other artifacts 'Slime'. I wanted the Gravi... But the slime is also good..
Its funny. I created my own stalker stash by accident cause I couldnt carry all the weapons and ammo i got from a big ass compound. Even funnier a couple other stalkers showed up and used the building as a base. Theirs seven of them guarding it so its my own hideout with my own army that just spawned there. So its now my new base!

Tried a several time to steal the assault rifle in the military base, but when I flee from there and return to the village, the soldiers keep coming to the village and attack me everytime I load a save after that. Very funny haha))

Well that one location where you said you'll get a gravi artifact instead for me it was a glowing Battery Artifact that gives Endurance and rads weak also About the poppy field the energy drinks are kinda bugged they dont work or at least on the xbox i popped back 17 once every second still died my first try i popped 4 and still died so its either bugged or can get bugged to where they dont work

I've watched multiple videos that you have about where to find anomalies and not a single one of them is lining up with the game, found jellyfish in a place where it's supposed to be the fly trap or whatever for carrying weight and the dead body did not have the gravity one wasn't even in his body
I went to for sniper location but by the time I'm there Lesky is dead near the garage below with few other corpses around. There was no sniper rifle on his body or anywhere near his corpse. I guess this i missable? Btw at that point I already gave the ward to Ritcher.
Playing on the Xbox Series X I'm having a lot of trouble "parkouring". It just feels like "Skif", even with full "energy" and dropping much of what you're carrying, just can't jump high enough to reach some of those difficult rooftops and such. I spent hours trying to access the roof at the "Cowpens" and left frustrated. I find it's easier when playing on my PC.

I killed the army guards that you have to sneak by,they drop their armor and helmet way stronger then everything I have or find so nice take way more damage now.
@ESOdanny is the bandit jacket a pre order or deluxe edition bonus like the Monolith weapons and armor in your previous video? I went to the location of the bandit jacket and it was not there. I double checked to make sure i was at the right location and that i didnt just miss it. Thanks

Leshy did not have a sniper for me he had a AR. Its fine im sure ill eventually find a sniper but the AK with scope is good enough for now

That stile of wep, is considered a rifle as it has rifling in it, it's a breakneck rifle and can load buckshot or actual rifle rounds for hunting
@joshthewolf8330 from my experience rifled shotgun barrels are generally only for slugs, and yes there are shotgun rifle combos but they have a 3rd barrel and 2nd trigger to account for the rifle cartridge. Anything smaller than a .50 would have a hard time fitting inside the barrel because it would just fall out. If we're strictly talking about the game though then that's another thing.
