“You’re right, we are mortal and fragile. But even if we are tortured or wounded, we’ll fight to survive. You should feel the pain we feel and understand. I am the messenger that will deliver you to that pain and understanding.” - Guts
OMG!!! I remember this was the first cover that I heard from you that blew my mind and made my subscribe to your channel 🔥 Can't believe so many years have passed since then 🥲 Excellent remake btw, keep rocking forever Falkkone!!
Like what others have said, I have to say that this was the theme and remake of yours that made me subscribe to you all those years ago. It's honestly kinda funny, because I just listened to your original remake only days ago, so to see you remaster this track is quite a joy. Honestly, I think you captured the beauty within the melancholy as well as the scale of this final, climactic fight of the Souls Trilogy. Thank you for your tunes, and keep rocking out!!
Something about souls music and metal just goes... so well. I already had this song on my playlist but its always a pleasure to hear this song again. I would love to see what a Messmer the impaler metal cover would sound like. Keep up the good work FalKKonE your fucking awesome man.
Recomendation for listeners, if you want an even crazier experience with this song, try overlaping it with the original, that goes harder than diamonds, it ain't just cinders it's the actual fuckin' fire
I love this, but man, I wish you made one just with the Phase 1 OST so I could listen to it on loop. I already do that with the original, I listen to Soul of Cinder Phase 1 pretty much everyday, almost all day. My favorite track of all time. Not a huge fan of the gwyn part on Phase 2 though, I feel like it's overrated
Even tho he uses Gwyn's moveset at the end, I feel like this knight was the previous lord of cinder, rather than just an amalgamation of all of them. Tho he was, of course, controlled by the soul of cinder. There is however very little we know about him. He was almost certainly a lord of Lothric following the tradition of lords of Lothric sacrificing themselves to the flame, but he wasn't enought to keep it burning for long which set into motion the events of the game as prince lothric refused to be sacrificed. Aside from that, the only thing we know is that he wielded the coiled sword as his weapon of choice (As shown in intro, which is the only part of the game this knight is shown before becoming a lord of cinder), so he was likely the one who defeated Gundhyr. Aside from these facts, there is almost nothing we know about him, making him a rather obscure and mysterious character despite the fact he's extremely important to the story as the indirect reason old lords of cinder had to be brought back.
@@000srwss9 probably not, too much time passed between one and the other, and we also didn't beat Gundhyr in DS2. So there is no evidence in favor of that theory, and two against (The other than "No Gundhyr fight" is that DS2 is in the middle of Ivory King's battle against demons, while in DS3 demons are already decimated and chaos flame isn't a huge, growing pile of lava as consequence of that)
I will say, the first time i ever fought soul was such an experience. I reached stage two on my first try, (and won, i was surprised.) and the change in music got me to go cold. Yes the original king is easier against melees, but ive been a devout magic user the entire series. And i will tell you, the evolution from my dark souls 1 shoot away strats to my darknsouls 3 str int hybrid style never gave me more of a confidence moment. "You may be the old king. But ive grown since we last fought. Ive learned my mistake. This time. Darkness shall have its age."

I think he is the First Scholar and the main character of Dark souls 2 (Bearer of the curse)
