Pastor Collins I love to listen to your preaching but today I heard one of your preaching that stir some concern in my spirit, it was on the topic of abortion. I have never had an abortion but I am guilty of the sin of abortion. It a long sorry about my sin which I won’t get into, however abortion is painful thing emotionally and physically , I can’t understand why their is this condemnation for women who commits abortion. I do believe If a woman committed abortion and she was brought before Jesus he would say “he without sin cast the first stone”. Many women are force to have an abortion to save a man’s marriage . Abortion seems like a political word but how does God sees abortion different from divorce, adultery, sexual immorality, lying, hatred , favoritism etc. The scripture compare hatred to murder but we fail to see ourself as a woman aborting her baby while the sin upon the woman killing her baby troubles us. We have to get sin into perspective that we are all murder if we can’t love one another. We all need Gods Grace because we all have sin. The good news I believe God save those still born babies in the womb.i am asking christian to show hope not condemnation , the scripture as 1 Cor 5:12 ESV For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?
Thanks for your comment. No doubt life begins at conception. Even 95% of biologist agree with this. No doubt, the only comforting part of an abortion is knowing that the baby is innocent and will be saved. However, when a woman gets an abortion it is murder. There is no justification for murder. However, murdering an unborn baby or a human outside the womb doesn't mean a person cannot repent and be right with God even though they will have to live with what they did for the rest of their lives. Jesus will certainly be the final judge, but we can make righteous judgments based on the Word. If God's word calls something a sin, then it is a sin. Whether it be murder, sexual sins, etc, those sins can keep you out of heaven if you don't repent.
