@@mikesunboxing Mike, no lotto winnings required for the setup I have. The unit on your video costs $67 usd and runs at normal ssd speeds. (slow) In comparison, my drive cost $25 for the enclosure, and $65 for a 500GB m.2 nvme drive. When plugged into a USB 3.1 Gen 2 port speeds nearing 10 Gbps is possible. That's a big boost in performance for only a little extra money.
@@mikesunboxing I don't have any files of that size to test, but based on average read/write speeds, I would guess transferring a 4gb file transfer to my main nvme drive would be 20 seconds or less.
Thank you for the video, its great and perfect for my choice.
Glad you like it!

Yes very much so
I just got the gen 1 1tb bolt B75 for 47$ on amazon a bit slower than gen 2 by 100 mb but cheaper for sure and still faster than a HHD.
Hi Mike. In regards to portable drives, I bought an external m.2 enclosure and a 1TB m.2 ssd that plugs into a usb.
M.2 is still a bit rich for my use but having a ssd keeps the price in check. If I win the lotto I’ll be all over nvme

What is the fastest transfer speeds you can get from it sustained? I’m transferring around 4gb files in some quantities
