Grow Potatoes Big potatoes at home in Small Buckets

Turning out a small bucket of potatoes you never know what to expect especially with a variety you've never grown before. A lot of rain has overwatered the buckets and previous deliveries have been poor with some of the potatoes a bit scabby. This bucket delivered quality size and weight. What's not to like about that.

Fantastic result! Hope the rest of the buckets are more of the same. Love seeing the pups. Meg doesn't quite get why you're fooling around with the pots when you should be throwing the rope RIGHT NOW. Nice to see Daisy taking center stage for a bit. She's quieter than Meg but she seems to be a sweet girl.

Good result with the Nectar variety from one seed potatoes Jim !
I will try that one next year. Your videos inspired me to try planting potatoes in large bags 3 to bag in April this year here in North East England.
Yesterday I harvested two bags. I got just over 2 lbs of Jazzy from one bag and just over 2.5 lbs of Acoustic from the other.

My potatos this year, so far, have been mostly lots of golf ball sized ones and one really huge one. We LIKE the golf ball sized ones that are fried in a skillet with salt and butter, but more bakers would have been good as well!
