The fact that faze was the only team to reach playoffs that started in play-ins and defeated the current number 1 in csgo is an accomplishment in itself
Was number 1 on paper, yesterday they faced actual number one in semi, they felt it. 😆😆😆, anyway Gambit is young and it’s first lan, they can be great in the future

By the looks of how rain played throughout the tournament it looks like he is determined and motivated to get back to his old form which is a good sign for FaZe.
He needed this motivation. He is able to stomp most tier 1 players, but lately he seemed lost in games and with a general lack of confidence.

Highlights are better but still far inferior to what the independent highlight (Matz and Vlad) makers used to do. The pace is still a bit too hectic.
Once again, start earlier in the rounds, show round ends, mid-rounds and build ups to frags.
I'm telling you again, please have a look at their highlights. Look at what rounds they chose and why.
Or even better, JUST HIRE THEM. It's the best decision you could make at this juncture.

FaZe played a phenomenal tournament. The difficulty of opponents always got higher and higher with each match they played, leading upto defeating the world no 1. But, on a given day, when you get that type of Simple from NAVI who is just not missing, you are just out of your luck. If somehow simple was a notch lower with his skill, we might have made the series competitive, hell, we might have had a chance at the Grand Finals. FaZe Clan came to Cologne to make a statement, and they absolutely did. They started as the underdogs at the play-ins and clearly gained everyone's respect with each win that they got.
You can see that Olof is a classic case of the mind still being sharp but the hands just can't do what he wants anymore.

The title says it all, S1mple show. I thought the highlights is pretty good.
ESL has complete rights with their content, but they will never have the personal touch of youtubers, reason being they are a faceless entity not individuals and people have a soft spot for the little guy.
Half of that little personal touch is gambling ads

FaZe out called themselves a bit on inferno and they lost some duels that they maybe shouldn't have but even without that Navi was just too on point.
Their calls seemed solid, they played as a team and s1mple did s1mple-things. Navi on their A-game is the best team in the world and I feel we get to see that more often.
But I'm excited to see how FaZe develops in the coming months.
