You will save a lot if you eat like the locals. When I was home in October we saved a lot of money on food. What I noticed in Isaan Thailand that they eat fresh everyday. I buy stuff and it just sits in the frezzor or on the shelf for months. In Isaan they go to the market every morning and that is what they eat. Your stuff can be sitting right in the refrigerator until it goes bad. I am still trying to get use to that.

Check out the local markets if your comfortable. Let your girl take you and you can find some good deals. Thais also cook out of the garden so you can save money on food.

I agree. The local markets are great and inexpensive. I usually do a mix of local markets and the supermarket when shopping because the local markets dont have everything i want. I probably should have mentioned that in the video. 😅 how did you like Isaan ? I like Isaan food and was thinking of visiting..

Facts. This is shopping as a foreigner. Shopping as a local at markets is where you save

Lotus was a lil expensive... in comparison to some of the places we've shopped.
